Lesson 1 He’s excited.

一、教材分析

小学英语(三年级起点)新教材(鲁科版)第二单元的主题为“Feelings”,“Lesson1 He’s excited.”的语言功能是谈论不同情境中的喜、怒、哀、乐等情感;学习任务为“What’s he doing? He’s dancing in the rain. He’s excited. The sky is angry. I’ve lost my cap. I’m sad.”

二、学情分析

本课的教学对象是五年级学生,他们的英语知识已经有了一定的积累,英语听说读写方面的能力有了一定的基础,具备了初步运用英语做事情的能力。但是其年龄特点决定了其有意注意的时间有限,因此,教师要采取多种方法调动学生学习的积极性,激发兴趣,培养能力。

三、教学目标

(1)知识目标

①能听懂、会说、认读单词:look, excited, sky, angry, lost, sad并规范书写单词:look, angry, sad

②能够听懂、会说、认读句型:What’s she/he doing? He’s dancing in the rain. He’s excited.

(2)技能目标

能够在语境中运用所学的词汇和句型与他人谈论情感方面的话题。

(3)情感目标

①通过学习培养学生细心观察,关心他人,与他人友好相处的思想感情。

②培养学生与他人沟通交流的能力,促进他们健全人格的发展。

四、教学要点分析

(一)教学重点:

能听说读写单词:look, angry, sad. 并正确运用所学句型,如:“What’s he doing? He’s dancing in the rain. He’s excited.”等,与他人进行情感方面的话题。(二)教学难点:

能根据实际情况谈论自己或他人的情感.

六、教学过程

Step1 Warm-up

1.Greetings.

2. Sing the English song “The happy song”。

【设计意图】同学们边拍手边唱英文歌曲,充分调动他们的多种感官,感受“happy”的心情,为本课学习创设良好的氛围。

Step2 Presentation

1.谈话引入新课。

T: Hello, children. I'm very happy today. Are you happy? S: Yes. 教师

出示课文第一幅图片对学生说:Danny is happy, too. Why does Danny look so happy?

【设计意图】由“happy”为切入点自然引入本节课文学习。

2. 播放课文动画,学生带着问题观看,学习新单词。

1)教师播放课文动画,课件出示图片和问题:

Why does Danny look so happy?(教学单词look 看起来,提示why 是为什么的意思。)

看完第一遍课文动画后,引导学生模仿Danny说出We’re going to the park.

2)问学生What happens in the park? 出示与文本内容相应的填空,引导学生看书并填空。结合每个填空的句子进行新单词excited, sky, angry, lost, sad的教授,期间渗透简单的语音教学。

3.再次播放课文动画,让学生跟读课文对话,并强调注意模仿语音和语调。然后小组内练习朗读,并让学生分角色朗读课文。

【设计意图】整体播放课文,让学生对课文故事有一个完整的了解。分两次解决问题,降低了学习难度;在学生的回答中找到新单词,能有效地引导学生理解课文。分角色朗读让学生在模仿中激发兴趣,巩固所学。

4.根据课文内容自编chant进行练习。

We're going to the park. I'm happy.

I'm dancing in the rain. I'm excited.

Help! Help! The sky is angry.

I've lost my cap. I'm sad.

【设计意图】通过chant 的练习,让学生进一步操练巩固本课的主要知识点,说唱的形式能够调动学生学习的积极性,提高学习效率。

Step3 Practice

1. 课件出示练习,根据人物表情选择适当单词,然后和同桌一起练习表达情感的句型:He’s / She’s …学生分组自己设计情境表达情感,比如送礼物、丢东西、把东西弄坏了等等。

【设计意图】通过针对性的练习,巩固所学有关情感的单词和重点句型。

2. Let’s talk. 让学生看Let’s talk部分的插图,教师可以用简练的语言描述图意,如:The rabbit is eating his book. Danny is dancing in the rain. Wang Hong is skipping. She’s reading .让学生四人一组模仿例句自由选择图片做问答练习。【设计意图】在具体语境中操练句型,学生能进一步理解情绪产生的原因,并有效地巩固所学句型。小组讨论学习的氛围能够带动有待于发展的学生尽快进入学习状态,在优秀生的带动下练习语言。

Step4 Production

让学生拿出课前准备的自己相关动作的照片或是图画,模仿文本中Let’s do.中的范例,根据内容进行相应的情感叙述。

Step5 Assignments

1.模仿跟读课文录音。

2.运用所学句型与朋友谈论具体情境下自己或他人的感受。
