如何导入教学?

教师出示挂图,提问“What are they doing?”引出“Children’s Day.Do you have a party for Children’s Day? Do you want to wear some new clothes? What do you like to wear on Children’s Day?教师通过这些问题与学生进行广泛的交流。教师说I’ve got a beautiful dress. Does any girl want to try it on? It looks beautiful。女教师拿出自己的连衣裙或短裙子让某个小朋友试一下,然后教师再说Oh, it’s beautiful. Do you like to wear a sk irt on Children’s Day? Do you like to dress a long dress on Children’s Day?如果是男老师,就可以带一件夹克衫或其他男士衣服,并找一个男同学试一试。学生穿上后,教师问Do you like this jacket? What do you like to wear on Children’s Day?在学生熟悉概念的基础上,教师要对学生讲Look, I’ve got many pictures. Do you know what the y are? Let’s say them one by one.教师拿出图片让学生辨认并跟读单词,在学生辨认的基础上,教师提问说What do you like to wear on Children’s Day? 并告诉学生应该说I like to wear skirts. I don’t like trousers.如果有可能,教师马上让学生进行两人一组的对话练习,使更多的学生有机会说,教师还可以让学生到黑板前边拿图边说I like to wear a jacket and a pair of brown shoes.如果学生事先也准备了许多有关衣物的小图片,两人一组就可以用图片来做问答练习。在学生练习的基础上,教师可以采取一些游戏来巩固学生的学习及辨认结果。教师可以这样说Now I want to put all the pictures on my table. But look, they all face down. We want to call a student from each group. He can come to the front and pick out one picture and saythe word. If he is corret, he gets five points. Then we add them up and see how well you are going with the words. Are you clear about it? Let’s begin.教师

从每组找一个同学到前面去抽一张图片,然后让其他学生说出,最后算总分。

单元教学活动2 Look, read and answer

在做该活动之前,教师先将单词图片让大家进行一下辨认,让大家知道每个图片的英语名称。接着,教室拿出事先准备好的有关衣物喜好调查表,发给每个学生一张,教师对学生说Now we are going to do something. I want you to go off your seats and ask your classmates and find out what he likes to wear on Children’s Day. You can ask the question here.教师指书上的问题What do you like to wear on Children’s Day? Your answer is I like to wear a dress, two socks and a pair of shoes.该活动的目的是要让大家练习口语,不要让学生用汉语去问,特别是要让学生尽量使用更多的词汇。

单元教学活动3 Look for the right clothes for these pupils.

教师说Now we have four children here, I like you to choose the right clothes for them. Here we have some clothes for them. Who wants to come here and pick up something and put it on their body? Let’s see which one is the best?教师让学生将已经剪裁好的小衣服和裤子等贴上。同学贴好后,说一句话She’s got a pink dress and black shoes.接下来的同学还可以到前面替换前面同学已经选好的衣服。然后说出自己选的衣物。教师还可以说She’s got a blue skirt and a pair of glasses.学生相互可以改造句子,重要的是让学生多说英语,教师可以安排学生课后在家长的帮助下,用废气的杂志,画报给小人剪一些衣服,下次上课的时候,带来用英语说出自己做的衣服,最后比比看谁做的更漂亮。

单元教学活动 4 Pairwork

这个活动能够是前面活动的继续。教师可以六一儿童节为话题。让学生两人一组进行对话,互相询问在六一儿童节喜欢穿什么样的衣服。待同学们比较熟悉该句型后,教师问出新的问题:What do you like to wear on New Year’s Day? What do you like to wear on National Day? What do you like to wear on Monday?等。有些词学生并没有学,但教师可以暗示或告诉学生中文是什么意思,这种扩充练习能使学生感到自己会很多东西,而且学起来也并非很难。

单元教学活动5 Let’s chant and sing

在这部分,教师要带领学生练习英语的节奏,刚开始的时候,教师让学生边拍手边说I like T-shirts but I don’t like shirts.教师在教这句话时,一定要注意,I like T-shirts 要一个词一拍,但but I 这两个词说的要快,在抬手或分开手的一刹那说出两个词,再拍下手的时候要说don’t like shirts.所以学生上课之前,教师要先熟悉下拍子,保证学生说得正确。老师为了让学生把句子说熟练,可以多教几遍朗读之后再听录音跟节奏。在这个歌谣的基础上,教师可以鼓励学生在两人一组的pairwork中换词。如I like apples but I don’t like oranges. I like green but I don’t like blue. I like dogs but I don’t like cats等。这样能进一步强化本单元的句型练习,同时也增加了挑战性。

单元教学活动6 Design a dress and s skirt for girls

在做这个练习之前,教师最好搜集一些非常有意思又比较好看的童装图片,在上课的时候展示给学生们看。然后,让学生为女孩子设计一件连衣裙和短裙子。最后,让大家展示自己设计的裙子。教师在整个设计活动中要注意观察和引导,不要偏离这个练习的意图。让学

生把自己设计好的服装写上名字e.g.jacket, trousers, skirt等。然后,把个别好的图片在全班进行展示并说:This is my jacket. This is my skirt.等。

单元教学活动7 Questionnaire

这个活动与本单元的第二个活动有类似的地方。教师让学生找自己最好的一个朋友,然后两人相互问答下面的问题如Do you like to wear a shirt? 等,学生要在喜欢的物品下打勾,然后比较一下,两个人有哪些不同,这个练习的目的是通过问答训练让学生进一步熟悉有关衣物的英语单词。

教学资源的开发和利用

教师可以让学生搞一个服装设计比赛活动。通过比赛活动增加学生们对设计的兴趣。同时,将所有比赛的图片搜集起来作为课堂中学生喜欢看的教具。另外,教师可以用零布头自己剪裁成一些小衣服,并用针缝起来,也可以让学生在家里自己用彩色纸粘贴一件衣服或裙子等。

课后作业

用练习2或练习7的图来询问自己的父母,看看父母喜欢穿什么样的衣服。再次准备有关动物的图片,尽量找表达复数概念的图片。
