单元教学目标

知识目标:1)学习洲、国家和语言的英文表达方式;

2)询问和表达自己意愿(去哪儿)用语:Where would you like to go? I’d like to ….能力目标:能够用英语就所知道的国家说几句介绍的话语。

情感目标:使学生进一步了解世界,开阔胸怀。

教学重点

1.学习洲、国家和语言的英文表达方式;

1.单词的读音和词义

2.学习内容中国家的背景知识不了解

Lesson 1

一、教学内容

1.本课学习六个大洲、六个国家及三个城市的词汇:

Asia; Europe; Africa; Oceania, North America, South America; Russia, Spain, Egypt, the US, Thailand, Australia; Barcelona, Moscow, Cairo.

2.询问并回答有关假期安排以及某城市在哪个国家和大洲的交际用语

Where would you like to go this winter vacation? I’d like to go to…

Where is …? It’s in…

二、教学目标

1.能够初步听懂、会说、认读本课词汇。

2.能够围绕本课句型进行交际和表达。

三、教学重点

1 有关六个大洲、六个国家以及三个城市的单词和词组:

Asia, Europe, Africa, Oceania, North America, South America, Russia, Egypt, the US, Thailand, Australia, Barcelona, Moscow, Cairo.

2.询问并回答有关价钱派以及某个城市在哪个国家和大洲的交际用语。

四.教学难点

1.国家以及主要城市所在大洲的背景知识和对新单词以及新词组的认读。

2.Africa,Europe,Oceania,Egypt的读音和拼写。

五、教学手段

教学录音磁带;教学挂图;学生和教师用单词卡片;教师自制相关教具(如:自制课件、小奖品等)。

六、教学方法

情景教学法、听说法、直接教学法

七、教学步骤:

1. Show some pictures: Asia, Europe, Africa, Oceania, North America, South America, Russia, Spain, Egypt,

the US, Thailand, Australia, Barcelona, Moscow, Cairo. Ask the Ss to look at the pictures, say them in pairs. (Do you know them? Where are they?)

2. Show a map of the world. Ask: Do you know what China is famous for? Do you know where China is?

New sentence: China is in Asia.

3. Ask: Do you know about other countries? What are they famous for?

Where is it? Where would you like to go this winter vacation?

4. Part A: Ask the Ss to listen to the tape for three times, and check the answers in class. Meanwhile, learn

the new words:

5. Practise: 1) Read the words.

2) Look at a part of the pictures and say the words.

3) Guessing game.

6. Listen to part (B) and repeat it.

7. Make a new dialogue according to part (B).

8. Act the dialogue.

9. Do a survey. (ask and report)

9. Homework

1) Copy the new words.

2) Write a short passage.

Lesson 2

一、教学内容

1.本课学习语言的词汇:Chinese,French,Russian,Japanese有关著名景观和特有动物的词汇:pyramid,koala,kangaroo

2.本课学习询问并回答所讲语言的句型:

What language do people speak there?

People there speak French.

二、教学目标

1.能够初步听懂、会说、认读本课词汇。

2.能够围绕本课句型进行交际和表达。

三、教学重点

1 Words: Chinese, French, Russian, Japanese, pyramid, koala, kangaroo.

2 询问并回答某地所讲语言的交际用语。

四、教学难点

1.连贯、顺畅的询问并回答有关某一国家或城市信息的交际用语。

2.Japanese,Russian,French的读音及拼写。

五、教学手段

1.教学录音磁带;

2.教学挂图;

3.学生和教师用单词卡片。

六、教学方法

情景教学法、听说法、直接教学法

七、教学步骤:

1.1)Show the cards to let the Ss read them.

2) Sort game.

3) Guessing game.

2. Show the pictures of Get Ready. Let the Ss read the words in pairs and try to say where they are.

3. Let the Ss listen to the tape, and point to the pictures.

4. Let the Ss listen to the tape, and write down the numbers.

5. Let the Ss check the answers in pairs.

6. Let the Ss listen to the tape, and check the answers in class.

The teacher shows the flash cards, the Ss read them.

7. Practise: 1) Read the cards.

2) Show some letters of the words, let the Ss say the words.

3) Say the direction and province of the famous places, let the Ss say the famous places there.

8. Listen to part (B) and answer the questions: (What are they talking about? What language do people

speak there?)

9. Make a new dialogue with other places.

10. Let the Ss show their small cards and describe them. (Japanese, Russian; French) 11.Homework: Copy the words.

Write a short passage about a famous place.

Lesson 3

一、教学内容

1.本课围绕某一国家或城市的相关信息进行读写交流活动。

2.本课对本单元所学语言适当扩展,并帮助学生以简短文段的形式描述某一城市。

二、教学目标

1.能够正确理解表达某一国家或城市的相关信息的文段。

2.能够围绕本单元主要交际句型进行交际和表达。

三、教学重点

1 综合运用本单元的新语言,连贯、顺畅的询问并回答有关某一城市或者国家的相关信息。

2 引导学生在前两课时学习的基础上,对本单元所学语言适当扩展,并帮助学生写文段,描述某个城市。

四、教学重点

综合运用本单元的新语言,连贯、顺畅的询问并回答有关某一城市或国家的相关信息并能够以简短语篇的形式书写以小段文字介绍某个城市。

五、教学手段

1.教学录音磁带;

2.教师自制课件;

3.学生和教师用单词卡片。

六、教学方法

情景教学法、听说法、直接教学法

七、教学步骤:

1.1) Read the words.

2) Read the words and match them.

3) Guessing game.

2. Show the pictures of Part A.

3. Read part A, find out the words they don’t know.

4. Check the answers, stick the stickers to the right places.

Listen to the tape and read it.

5. Play the guessing game with the cards in the group.

6. Group work: ask more questions, and find out which group is the best.

7. Ask: How many continents are there in the world? What are the continents in the text?

8.The teacher introduces: Now, l et’s have a class quiz. I’ll divide you into 6 groups. I w ill ask you some

questions. If you can answer a question quickly and correctly, your group will get a star.

9. Write a short passage about a city.

10. Choose several students to come to the front and show before class.

11. Homework:

Lesson 4

1.阅读理解有关国旗的简要介绍。

2.在阅读理解的基础上,灵活运用所学语言,简单介绍某国的国旗。

3.通过儿歌学习字母ear组合在词汇中的读音。

二、教学目标

1.能够正确理解语篇。

2.能够就著名国家的国旗展开讨论,并进行适当扩展。

3.能够正确读出单词中ear的发音,并能够朗读儿歌。

三、教学重点

1 有关国旗的简要介绍。

2 阅读理解有关国旗的文段,尝试运用所学语言,简单介绍某国的国旗。

3 字母组合ear在单词中的发音。

四、教学难点:

1 阅读理解介绍国旗的文段,扩展本单元的语言;综合运用医学语言以及本课时的扩展语言简单介绍某国的国旗。

2 字母组合ear在单词中的读音。

五、教学手段

1.教学录音磁带;

2.教师自制课件;

3.学生和教师用单词卡片。

七、教学步骤:

1.Show the words (along, long, song,)

Let the Ss read them, and say the pronunciation of “ear”.

2. Read the chant by themselves, then listen to the tape and say the chant.

3. Show the map of the world. Ask the Ss “Where is China?” Show the map of Asia to help the Ss

understand “in east Asia”.
