I would like to submit the attached manuscript, “Fractionation of dibenzofurans during subsurface petroleum migration:based on molecular dynamics simulation and reservior geochemistry,” for consideration for possible publication in the Research Articles section of ”Organic Geochemistry”.

In this study,we find two molecular indicators,the total content of dibenzofurans and therelative abundance of 1-methyldibenzofurans

to4-methydibenzofurans,respetively.These indicators with thermal stability are ubiquaitous in crude oil.The innovation in this research lies in the technical means of molecular dynamics simu lation and resrvior geochemistry.what’s more,this newly discovered molecular marker is potentially effective for tracing the path of hydrocarbon migration and charging pathways.
