商务英语专业市场营销探讨 近年来,商务英语专业在我国蓬勃发展,但教材的开发却相应滞后。市场营销作为商务英语专业的核心基础课程之一,在教材的选择上仍存在一定的盲目性和随意性。本文在分析我国商务英语专业市场营销课程的教材现状之后,对该课程教材的开发和建设提供了一些建议。 一、引言 随着我国经济的迅猛发展和全球化,社会对既精通英语又熟悉商务知识的人才需求量越来越大。商务英语专业以其高度的市场导向和对应用型、复合型人才的培养,越来越受到学生、学校和用人单位的欢迎。因此,商务英语专业在我国蓬勃发展,对其人才培养模式的探讨也越来越多,已逐渐发展成一门独立学科。 在商务英语专业人才的培养目标中,学生除了具有扎实的英语基本功、宽阔的国际化视野之外,还应具备合理的国际商务知识与技能,从而能在国际环境中用英语从事商务、经贸.管理、金融、外事等工作。而营销作为企业的基本活动之一,在企业的生存和发展中起着至关重要的作用。加上近年来企业对营销人才的大量需求,几乎所有的商务英语专业都开设了市场营销课程,市场营销作为商务英语专业的一门核心基础课程的地位也得以确立。但是,相对于商务英语

专业的迅速发展,教材的开发却处于滞后状态。本文在分析我国商务英语专业市场营销课程的教材现状之后,对该课程教材的开发和建设提供一些建议。 二、教材建设的现状 目前,商务英语专业在全国尚未全面开展专业课程教学,缺乏全国统一的教材和教学大纲。教材的选定工作往往由任课教师承担,存在一定的盲目性和随意性,从而制约了教学的效果。 商务英语专业的教师应该是复合型教师,不仅能用熟练的英语进行教学,并且接受过系统的商科训练。在课堂上,教师应当用英语讲授营销学的基本原理和相关知识,帮助学生用英语分析和解决营销的实际问题。因此,采用中文教材的做法不符合商英专业的培养目标,往往不被采用。另外,中文教科书是为商科专业的学生编写,学时更长,内容更深入,对学生的实践能力提出了更高的要求。对于商务英语专业的学生来说,要在相对短的时间内提高英语水平并像商科专业的学生一样掌握同等的专业知识,这样的教学目标是难以企及的。由于教学目标和对象的不同,市场营销课程的教材应不同于商科专业该课程的教材。 另一类市场营销教材属于专门用途英语教材,它的内容取材于原版教材或从网上下载材料xx,以专题的形式讲授营销知识,但仍偏重语言的学习,如术语的翻译、语言分析、
