翻译实践报告 姓名：荆一嵘学号：041180 进入英语系伊始，周围的朋友便不断以“帮忙翻译东西”相求。似乎存在着一种共识：语言学习的直接作用就是翻译。而实际上，在不得已而帮朋友的忙，以及逐渐参与翻译可学习的过程中，我却越来越明显地感觉到：语言学和翻译是两种学问。语言的学习可能其目的作用皆与翻译无关。而同时，懂得或熟练的掌握一门语言，也并不等同于可以从事翻译工作。在此谨以我在学习翻译理论前后的实践活动作比较，一来总结我的所学和进步，提出实践中遇到的问题；二来例证我前面所述的观点。 （一）??在接触翻译课之前 1观念上 只要学好两门语言，就可以从事其互译工作。在翻译工作中，力求更优美更纯熟地运用文字，尤其是专业词汇的正确运用，是做好翻译的必经之路。 2实践上 由于学习英语专业，周围朋友和自己都感到在英语方面我可能更胜一筹，于是就帮助同学翻译论文和简历。这成为我“翻译生涯”的开端。 3实践总结 为了“不丢英语系的人”，自己力求精准优美，大量的查字典学词汇，客观上还是基本合格地传达了原文意思，并且学到了不少知识。但是，整个实际操作的过程却显得尤为艰难，而且交付定稿时很多地方都还不尽如人意，颇有“心有余而力不足”之感。尽管之前听过“信，达，雅”之类的说法，但用到实处，却无从下手。现在回想起当时的情形来，大约是看到洋洋洒洒的几页文字，鼓足勇气下定决心，抱着“排除万难，不怕牺牲”的信念，硬着头皮从一个个生词查起，
