雅思考官首推口语tips,记牢就是高分!(上)

1. When you say something you DOor LIKEalways giveEXAMPLES

When talking about actions past, present or future give a SPECIFIC personal example. This gives you more to say and is the way native speakers communicate.

Bad:

“I love eating sweet foods.”

“In my job I have to travel quite a lot.”

Native Speaker:

“I love eating sweet foods,SUCH AS, cakes, fresh fruits and sometimes candy.”

“In my job I have to travel quite a lot. FOR INSTANCE, I often go to Korea and Thailand.”

Tips: Remember these example words:Such as, for instance, for example, like

1. 当你谈论你做过或是喜欢的事情时,一定要举例说明!

当谈论到过去、现在或是将来的某种行为时,一定要给出具体的例证。这会让你有更多的内容可说,也是英语母语者的交流方式,符合英语答题逻辑。

低分表达:“I love eating sweet foods.”

“In my job I have to travel quite a lot.”

符合英语答题逻辑的表达:“I love eating sweet foods, SUCH AS, cakes, fresh fruits and sometimes candy.”

“In my job I have to travel quite a lot. FOR INSTANCE, I often go to Korea and Thailand.”

提示:记住这些表示举例的短语或单词:Such as, for instance, for example, like

2. When you make a claim (“I believe that...”) give clear examples to support

a statement

If you make a claim, give a supporting example. Examples do not need to be smart or clever. They need to support what you said and be true.

Bad:

“There are many success women in Business.”

“I believe that you can do anything if you put your mind to it.”

Native Speaker:

“There are many successful women in Business. Take for example Oprah Winfrey who has become very famous all over the world."

“I believe that you can do anything if you put your mind to it.Look, for instanceat Lance Armstrong, I have always been inspired by his determination.”

Tip: Some connective words for examples are:Look, for instance. . . / take, for example. . . / to quote one example . . .

2. 当你阐述观点时,一定要给出清晰的例子来支持你的论点

在表达某一观点时,一定要给出相应的例证支持。例子不需要花哨或别具匠心,但一定要支持你给出的论点,可以证明你所说的是正确的。这才是英语答题逻辑所遵循的。

低分表达:“There are many success women in Business.”“I believe that you can do anything if you put your mind to it.”

符合英语答题逻辑的表达:“There are many successful women in Business. Take for example Oprah Winfrey who has become very famous all over the world.

“I believe that you can do anything if you put your mind to it.Look, for instance at Lance Armstrong, I have always been inspired by his determination.”

提示:一些可以用于举例的连接词:Look, for instance . . . / take, for example . . . / to quote one example. . .

3. Don’t give dictionary definitions when asked “Describing” questions or “Tell me about...” questions

In English, a describe question can be answered in many ways. It does“not”mean give a dictionary definition.

If the question is:“Describe a skyscraper?”

DO NOT SAY:

The skyscraper I saw is about 200 meters high…

If you do not have much to say, you can answer the question by also talking about:- Your impression of a skyscraper.- Your feelings when you see a skyscraper.- Do you like/dislike skyscrapers.- Differences between skyscrapers

Tip:

If you have never seen the thing you are asked to talk about and describe; you are sure to have seen it many times in movies or on TV. Tell the examiner that....“Though I have never seen a skyscraper in real life, I’ve seen them in many American movies...” then go on to tell the examiner about YOUR impressions of them from the movies you saw.

3. 当被问到一些要求描述或者讲述的相关话题时,不要给一些像“字典定义”式的回答

在英语中,一个描述性问题可以有很多种回答的方式,而不是一个类似于字典定义的枯燥回答。

例如问题是:“ Describe a skyscraper?”

不要说:我见过的摩天大楼有 200 米高……

如果你不知道如何回答 skyscraper,那你可以选择以下的方式来展开回答:

- Your impression of a skyscraper.- Your feelings when you see a skyscraper.- Do you like/dislike skyscrapers.

- Differences between skyscrapers.

提示:如果你从来没有真的接触过所要描述的东西,你一定在电影或电视中多次看到过它,把这告诉你的考官…“Though I have never seen a skyscraper in real life, I’ve seen the feature in many American movies...”然后继续告诉你的考官你从电影中得到的对这个事物的印象。

4. In part 1 & 2 of the test give PERSONAL ANECDOTES

“Personal anecdotes” are mini-stories or details that give extra flavor and color to your answers. This is an important character of English Logic,it makes your answer alive.

For example:“Do you like parks?”

Bad:

“Yes, I do. I really like parks a lot because there are lots of trees”.

Native Speaker:

“Yes, I do. I really like parks a lot because there are lots of trees. My brother and I often go walking in the local park in my hometown on a Sunday afternoon when the weather is good.”

Tip:Practice thinking about places you like to visit, and describe them in a few wor

ds, then think about a time when you went there and ask yourself:When did I go there? (remember to get your tenses right!)Who was I with? What did we do?It does not have to be long.

4. 在第一部分和第二部分中试着给出你自己的轶闻趣事

“个人的轶闻趣事”是一些可以给你的回答增添趣味和色彩的小故事或者细节,这也是英语答题逻辑里的重要一部分。让你的回答更加活灵活现。

例如问题:“ Do you like parks?”

低分表达:

“ Yes, I do. I really like parks a lot because there are lots of trees.”

符合英语答题逻辑的表达:

“ Yes, I do. I really like parks a lot because there are lots of trees. My brother and I often go walking in the local park in my hometown on a Sunday afternoon when the weather is good.”

提示:在练习中,思考一些你喜欢去的地方,用少量的单词来形容他们,然后回想一个你曾去过那里的时间,并且向自己提问:When did I go there? (注意要保证你的时态是正确的!)Who was I with?What did we do?这段话并不需要很长。

5. When you give an opinion also say what the opposite opinion to yours is,and why you disagree with it

Bad:

“I think Global warming is the largest problem facing the world”.

Native Speaker:

“I think global warming is the largest problem facing the world. While some people would claim that global warming is part of the natural cycle of the earth and not caused by humans,I think you only need to look at all the pollutants in the Beijing airto realize that humans are definitely affecting the environment!”

Tip:

Always state WHY you both have the opinion and disagree with the opposite opinion.See, again, how linking words are so useful in making your sentences sound much more natural and ultimately help you win a higher score?

5.当你给出一个观点时,同时也要指出与你的意见相反的观点以及你不同意这种观点的理由

低分表达:

“ I think Global warming is the largest problem facing the world.”

符合英语答题逻辑的表达:

“ I think global warming is the largest problem facing the world. While some people would claim that global warming is part of the natural cycle of the earth and not caused by humans,I think you only need to look at all the pollutants in the Beijing air to realize that humans are definitely affecting the environment!”

提示:在口试时,给出了你支持观点的理由外,还应该给出你不同意相反观点的理由。从以上的表达可以再次看到,连接词的合理使用可以让你的表达听起来更像个英语母语者,回答也更加的符合英语答题逻辑,从而获得口语高分。

6. Choose more specific adjective to enrich your English—be deive

Native speakers choose more specific over less specific adjectives. Use all of the adjectives you know and you demonstrate a higher English level. Every examiner hears that things are “beautiful”, “interesting” or “happy”.

Bad:

“My hometown is very beautiful.”

“Going home makes me feel happy.”

“I like physics because it is interesting.”

Native Speaker:

“My hometown is very unique and warm.”

“Going home makes me feel warm and nostalgic.”

“I like physics, because it is a fascinating subject.”

Tip:Practice describing things you know using a wider range of adjectives. We are sure you have studied thousands of adjectives in your years learning https://www.wendangku.net/doc/2316440621.html,E THEM!

Be more creative and practice describing things in more colorful ways.

6.选择更为具体和特定的形容词来丰富你的英语表达——要善于描述

英语母语者倾向于使用更为具体和特定的形容词。充分利用你所知道的形容词,这样才可以证明你的英语水平很高。每一个考官都已经厌倦听到“beautiful”、“interesting”或者是“happy”这些词。

低分表达:

“My hometown is very beautiful.”

“Going home makes me feel happy.”

“I like physics because it is interesting.”

符合英语答题逻辑的表达:

“My hometown is very unique and warm.”

“Going home makes me feel warm and nostalgic.”

“I like physics, because it is a fascinating subject.”

提示:练习用更广泛的形容词来描述你所知道的事物。这些年中你已经学习了数以千计的形容词。开始与外教练习,使用它们!要有创造力,用更多彩的方式来描述事物。

2019年雅思口语考官范文:外国文化Describe a foreign culture that you like You should say 1.what culture it is and how you know about it 2.what differences there are between that culture and your own and why you like that foreign culture. 考官范文: 1. Which culture and how I know about it I'm going to talk about France and French culture. I know France quite well because it was the first foreign country that I visited as a child. I've been on several family holidays there, and I lived and worked in Paris for a while after finishing university. 2. Cultural differences The first thing that comes to mind when I think about France is the bread! I love the fact that French people buy fresh baguettes every morning, usually from small local bakeries or 'patisseries'; it makes a change from the loaves of sliced bread that most of us buy from the supermarket here in the UK. One slightly negative difference I noticed in Paris is that Parisians don't seem to make friends with their work colleagues to the same extent as we do here. 3. What I like about it I really like the café culture in France. You can always find somewhere interesting to sit and have a coffee and chat

雅思考官口语高分战略

Chapter 1 Importance of structure 雅思口语考官检查四个方面: Pronunciation([pr?u,n?nsi'ei??n]: n. 发音;读法) 这考查你的重音和语调 Vocabulary(词汇):Use BIG words, but make sure they are pronounced correctly and used in the correct context! 语法:Don’t worry too much about making mistakes but be sure to use a variety of ways to describe different tenses and try to use high-level grammar. Fluency/Coherence (流利/连贯):There are many skills involved with this part! The most important skill-structure-is what this book is about! 上面4部分,每一部分都很重要,各项得分相加的总和除以4就是你的得分。 在“Pronunciation,Vocabulary,grammar,Fluency/Coherence ”四部分中,花1个月分别训练各项,训练Fluency/Coherence所取得的进步最大,得分最高,因此,最后一个月,我训练的重点应该是Fluency/Coherence。(因为我说的越流利,就越显自然,越像是母语使用者,分数必然高!) 想要提高“流利度”分数一定要构思好如何来回应! To simplify, “fluency”refers to how natural you are and “coherence”refers to how clear/well-organized you are. In particular, in both the speaking and writing tests, structure is very important. (这一点同样适用于口语考试,如果你有疑惑,follow this guideline!)Chapter 2 Basic structure Here is the basic structure that you can/should use for almost every question: Firstly, when you respond to a question, you answer needs some kinds of introduction.

Good morning. Good afternoon. I’m very well. Thank you. Pleased to meet you. I beg your pardon. What exactly would you like to know? Perhaps I can begin by telling you about… Recently, I’ve been studying at … Recently, I’ve been working at … I’ve been studying English for (1 year)... The reason I’m taking the test is because … Would you like to know about …? Before that I studied

雅思口语考官带读带练 (事件)第14期Western Wedding西式婚礼

These days there are no real rules for a western wedding; even religious ceremonies can be held at a couple's venue of choice, or outdoors. Many people like to stick to traditional ways though, so here are some aspects of a Western wedding. The ceremony This is often held in a religious building such as a church, chapel, synagogue or mosque. If the wedding is a civil ceremony, the Registry Office of the local government offices becomes the venue. In church, the friends and family of the bride sit on one side of the aisle, and those of the groom on the other. The bride arrives last, and the Groom and the best man wait for her at the end of the aisle, near the altar. The bride is 'given away' by her father, a custom with roots in the idea of women being men's property! During the ceremony, the couple exchange marriage vows and gold rings, guarded until this moment by the best man, and the broom is given permission by the person marrying them to kiss the bride. As they leave the church, their guests throw rice or paper confetti and may tie old shoes and lucky horseshoes to the back of their car, which is also decorated. They drive to the wedding reception in a hotel, pub or garden, or at home. The white dress and trimmings Bridal gowns of ancient times were brightly colored to signify joy, but many brides wear white, supposedly to represent purity or virginity. In fact, Queen Victoria is commonly credited withbeing the first bride to wear white as a sign of wealth. Long ago the bridegroom would cover hisbride's head, to conceal her identity if he had capture her, or as protection from evil spirits, resultin g in the bridal veil, usually made of net or lace. Brides may also wear a garte r,originally intended to keep her stockings up, and carry a bouquet of flower s. These last aregiven away after the ceremony; the garter is torn off and gi ven to a lucky bachelor, or evenauctioned, while the bouquet is thrown by th e bride to her single female friends: the personwho catches it will marry next. These traditions actually have roots in England when guestswould tear at the bride's clothing and flowers to share in her happiness. While fleeing from her attackers, the bride would toss her bouquet into the mob to placate them. The wedding cake Traditionally in England, wheat cakes were broken over the bride's head to br ing good luck and fertility. During the reign of King Charles II of England, a b aker stacked these cakes andfrosted them, creating the wedding cake we kno w today. The bride and groom kiss over theirtall cake for luck and then cut th e first piece together. Feeding cake to each other is a symbol of how they will always trust and provide for each other, and feed and nourish their relationshi p. The honeymoon Back when a bride married by capture and not by choice, the groom would take h er away followingthe wedding, and keep her in hiding for a full cycle of the m

Today I am going to talk about collecting postcards—a hobby that is both fascinating and financially rewarding. I would like to explain the basic kinds of collectible postcards, why they are so valuable, and how collectors buy and sell their cards. 而另一位考生则给出了不一样的开场白: It’s Saturday morning, and you are helping clean out your grandmother’s house. After working a while, you stumble upon a trunk, open it, and discover hundreds of old postcards. Thinking about getting to your driving lesson on time, you start tossing the cards into the trash can. Congratulations! You have just thrown away a year’s tuition. 对比之后,我们很快就发现,第二位考生的开场白效果比第一位考生的开场白好,因为它很好地将考官融入进来,抓住了考官的兴趣点,使之后主干部分的陈述更为顺利。

Simon考官雅思口语范文part1-word版(汇总-59页)

1) At what age did you start studying mathematics? I can't exactly remember, but it was probably in my first year at primary school when I was 5 years old. I probably learnt simple addition at that age. 2) Do you like mathematics? Why / why not? I don't dislike maths, but I wouldn't say that I've ever really liked the subject either. I'm happy to do simple calculations, but my brain can't cope with the complex stuff! 3) Is it necessary for everyone to learn mathematics? Yes, I think it is. We all need a basic grounding in maths so that we can do daily tasks, like managing our money, working out bills, and so on. 4) Do you prefer to use a calculator when doing mathematics? It depends. I quite like exercising my brain with anything that's easy enough, but I use the calculator on my phone for anything tricky.
