Step 1 Leading in(5ms)

1.Greetings

2.How to Greet in the class? Let?s have a learn. And then let?s learn the

pronunciation and the shape of the 26 letters.

Step 2 Self-study (5ms)

1.Ask Ss to read out the 26 letters by themselves in groups.

2.Check the pronunciation of the students while walking around the

class.

Step 3 Teacher?s interpretation and Ss? show(20ms)

1.Ask Ss to look at the blackboard, ask some Ss to read out the letters

and check the pronunciation. Then ask Ss to repeat the letters for several times. Next, ask others to read the letters again till almost all of them get the correct pronunciation.

2.Ask Ss to pay attention to the pronunciation of the letters “Ff”,

“Gg” ,“Jj”, “Hh”, “Kk”, “Rr”, “Uu”, “Vv”, “Ww”, “Zz”.

3.Ask Ss to write down the phonetic symbls above the letters of the text

book.

4.Give Ss 3 Ms to review the pronunciation of the 26 letters

5.Show the letter cards in disruptting order and ask Ss to read them out.

6.Correct the errors and give Ss 3 Ms to bear in mind the shape of the

letters.

7.Show the music of the “A B C”, ask Ss to listen carefully.

8.Play the music again and ask Ss to follow the music and imitate the

song.

9.After playing the music several time, ask Ss to sing the song together.

10.R eviwe the 26 letters and ask Ss to pay attention on the pronunciation

of the letters “Ff”, “Gg” ,“Jj”, “Hh”, “Kk”, “Rr”, “Uu”, “Vv”, “Ww”, “Zz”, and the shape of the letters “Kk”, “Ll”, “Qq”, “Rr”, “Vv”, “Xx”, “Yy”

1.Ask Ss to read the words of Starter Unit 1 in groups.

2.Give help to anybody who need, and check the pronunciation of the

words while walking around the class.

1.Lead Ss to read the words and check the error

2.Ask Ss to read the words altogether

3.Give Ss 3 Ms to read the words by themselves and pay attention on

attention to the writing order of each letter

and imitate them

write the names in alphabetical order.
