浅谈小学英语教学中遇到的挑战及对策 一、关于小学英语教学 总所周知,英语学习的内容无非就是听、说、读、写四个部分,然而每个小学生的基础并不是完全一样,因为有的孩子在上幼儿园的时候就已经接触了英语知识的学习,这些孩子对于一些简单的字母、词汇和句子比较了解,但是还是有一部分学生在进入小学英语教育之前就没有参加过与英语有关的学习,所以孩子的基础就不一样,为了公平起见,小学英语教师应该把每个孩子都视为英语知识零基础的初学者来对待,也就是从零开始学起。教师要从最简单的字母的正确写法、读法开始,然后单词的音标来着手。 大家都知道,兴趣就是最好的老师,小孩子天生比较单纯、可爱,他们的脑子里没有太多复杂的东西,所以他们对自己喜欢的事情就会表现出热爱,而对于枯燥无味的事情就没有兴趣,没有了兴趣,自然也不愿意主动去做,为了提高学生对英语学习的兴趣爱好,我把游戏加入到了英语课堂中,而常用到的游戏有:词汇游戏,句型游戏,听说游戏,表演类游戏等三大类。 1、词汇游戏词汇游戏的优点是组织起来比较容易,游戏操作起来简便,其实这种方法适合在各种各样的课程中应用,然而比较普遍的词汇游戏有:单词接龙(word match),这种游戏的步骤其实是由老师给出一个单词,再由学生接上另一个单词,就像成语接龙一样,要求学生给出的单词的首写字母与老师所给的单词的末尾的那个词尾相同。比如:baby-you-use;经过笔者试验发现,词语接龙是一个既简

单又有效的游戏。因为它有效的调动了课堂气氛,激发了学生对参与英语课堂的兴趣。如果教师能够将教育学心理学结合起来运用,比如给予小学生适当的赞美和夸奖,就能够有效的提高小学生参与的积极性;并有效的建立孩子的自信心,使得孩子获得心理上的满足。 另外一种词汇游戏就是纵横字谜游戏,这种游戏的步骤是指英语教师在方格中给出部分字母,使得纵横方格里面的字母连接起来都能成为单词,这样可以有效的锻炼孩子的思维能力和归纳能力,这种游戏的优点是具有挑战性,但缺点是有一定的难度,这种游戏对于高年级的学生比较有吸引力。 第三种词汇游戏就是卡片闪动游戏,这种游戏的具体步骤就是有教师事先准备好单词卡片,在卡片上的一面写上单词,又在写上单词的卡片的背面画上与单词相对应的图片,通过教师反复的闪动,使得学生能够快速的记住该单词,但是教师在闪动的过程中幅度不能太大,要注意把握时间。这种方法比较适用于新词汇的教学,也适用于复习曾经学过的单词。 句型游戏 通过学生对单词的学习,就可以过度到学生对英语句型的学习,然而教师在操作的过程中可以通过句型游戏来提高学生的兴趣,使更多的学生主动参与到英语教学中。 第一种句型游戏叫做连锁反应,这种游戏就是让一种能让学生单独操练句型的方法,比如问一个学生,“what’s this in English?”学生回答完问题以后又可以以同样的问题去问旁边的同学。通过学生反

游戏在小学英语课堂中的应用 游戏作为深受小学儿童喜爱的活动形式,可以调节学生注意的分配,保证课堂学习的效率,培养学生对英语学习的直接兴趣,创造真实多变的教学环境,提供新奇有趣的操练形式,一直在课堂教学中被广泛采用,占有极重要的地位。但年轻教师们常常因为没有经验而觉得游戏太少,几次下来就捉襟见肘了。其实课堂教学中的游戏有很多是即兴的,随机的,掌握了其中最常用的,完全可以自己编出新颖有趣的游戏来。 目前在我们课堂上使用的游戏可分为词汇游戏,句型游戏,听说游戏,表演游戏等几类。其中有许多游戏都是经过几十年的使用而仍然充满生命力,为广大小学生所喜爱。 1、词汇游戏 词汇游戏易于组织,操作简便,灵活机动,适合在各种课中应用,较普遍的有: (1)、Word martch(单词接龙) 即由老师给出一单词,由学生接上另一单词,要求该词词首的字母与老师所给单词的词尾相同。这个游戏虽然简单,却十分有效,可迅速调动课堂气氛,使学生的思维活跃起来。并可复习到大量不常见单词。 如:morning-good-dear-reason- (2)、Crossword puzzle(纵横字谜) 在方格中给出年部分字母,由学生填上其他字母,使之纵横皆成单词,如: MARCNOGOUNDERLSDROVe该游戏可训练学生的发散思维,归纳思维等能力,可熟悉固定单词,且有一定难度,具有挑战性,对高年级学生较有吸引力。 (3)、Flash cards(卡片闪动) 教师准备好单词卡片,卡片上写上单词,或画上单词的图片,在学生面前闪动,让学生一起说出该单词。教师先以较慢的速度依次展示,然后随机快速闪动。这个游戏可以用于新授课中,让学生迅速熟悉所学的生词,也可用于新课开始前复习上一课所学单词。 (4)、Magic eyes(魔力眼) 在黑板上贴上所教生词的图片,老师站在旁边,往黑板上瞟一眼,然后让学生猜老师刚才看
