【导学自悟】

1.Good morning! 早上好!/上午好!

说英语国家的人早上/上午见面时的问候语.对方也用同样的问候语来回答.

2.—Welcome to China ! 欢迎来到中国!

—Thank you.!/Thanks. 谢谢你.

Welcome 在此用作感叹词,意思―欢迎‖,用于对客人或刚刚到达的人表示欢迎.如,

—Welcome ! 欢迎!—Welcome to Nanyang !欢迎来到南阳!

—Thank you! 谢谢!—Thanks! 谢谢!

3.Hello! 喂!/你好!

通常用于以下几种情况:打招呼、打电话、表示惊讶或引起对方注意.

Hi 比Hello 更通俗,现在使用得很普遍.

4.—Oh, nice to meet you , Jane .啊,简,认识你很高兴.

—Nice to meet you , too .认识你也很高兴.

Nice to meet you .通常用于初次见面经介绍相识后,以示礼貌的常用语.回答时用Nice to meet you too . too 意思为―也‖.一般放在句末, 可用逗号隔开.

— Yes , I am . —是的,我是迈克.

— Are you Maria ? —你是玛利亚吗?

—No , I’m not . —不,我不是玛利亚.

(1)动词be有三种形式:am , is , are ,都是―是‖的意思.Am用于第一人称单数I的后面;is用于第三人称单数或名词单数后面;are用于第二人称单复数或第一、第三人称复数后面;可简记为:我用am ,你用are ,三他is , 们用are .

试译:1.我是李明.______________________________ .

(2)观察上面句子,当我们询问对方姓名时用Are you ?回答时,肯定用____________________ 否定用___________________ Yes , I am .是Yes , I am Michael 的简略形式.英语中为避免重复出现相同的部分多采用简略形式.I’m是I am的缩略形式,但在做肯定回答时不能写成缩略形式.

(3)no和not做副词时,都有―不‖的意思.前者一般用于否定句的开头,反义词是yes; not 主要用在be动词等助动词之后构成否定句.如:

This is not a pen .这不是一支钢笔.

—Are you Maria ?你是玛利亚吗?

—No ,I’m not .不,我不是.

一、Mom ,this is Mr. Brown .妈妈,这是布朗老师.

1.This is+某人的姓名,―这是某某人‖用于初次见面时,向对方介绍第三者的非正式用语,

一般不用He/She is…. This is不能象what’s ,I’m , It’s一样可用缩略形式.

这是我的妈妈.This is my mom.

2.Mr.是学生对男教师的称呼(不论婚否),意为―老师‖.英美人习惯把Mr.先生(婚否不限),

Mrs夫人(已婚女子),Miss女士小姐(未婚女子)和Ms女士(没必要说明婚姻状况或婚姻状况不明)用在姓氏或全名前,作为一种称呼.

格林先生Mr. Green 怀特夫人Mrs White Miss Nancy White 南希怀特二、Nice to see you. 见到你很高兴.

通常是熟人之间见面时以示礼貌的用语.回答用Nice to see you, too.

三、How do you do ? 你好!

这是说话者双方第一次见面时所用的较正式的问候语,回答也用How do you do ?虽有问号,但没有疑问的语气.以后再次见面就用How are you ?等.

如:—迈克,这位是玛丽.—Mike, this is Mary.

—玛丽,你好!—How do you do , Mary?

—迈克,你好!—How do you do , Mike?

英语中,一天中问好根据时间的不同可分为:

Good moring. 上午好. 一般指黎明时~中午12点

Good afternoon.下午好.一般指中午12点后~ 下午6点

Good evening.晚上好. 一般指下午6点后~晚上10点左右

2.How are you ?是熟人或朋友之间见面时询问对方健康状况的寒暄用语,其答语通常有—Fine (I’m fine ,/I’m OK/ very well ,/ Not bad), thank you .And you ?好,我身体不错,我很健康,我很好,谢谢.你呢?

—I’m fine , too ./ I’m OK.(原问话者可以针对And you?继续作出的回答)

3.Goodbye .―再见‖,是告别的用语.这样的短语还有Bye / Bye—bye .

1.Excuse me, are you Jane ? 打扰了,请问你是Jane 吗?

Ecuse me 意为:―劳驾,请问‖常用于当你要打扰别人时,如:借东西,问路,插话,中途离开等时,向对方表示歉意.试译:请问,你是吉姆吗?_________,___________________?.

2. —What’s your name ,please?—My name is Sally .我叫萨莉.

What’s your name ?是询问对方名字的一个常用句式,其答语是My name is ….或I’m …,也可直接说出自己的名字.如要表示语气更加委婉、客气,可在句后加上please.

3.—Where are you from ? —你来自哪里?/你是哪里人?

—I’m from Canada . —我来自加拿大./我是加拿大人.

be from意为―从……来‖,―来自……‖.询问某人的籍贯或来自何地:

Where + be + 主语+ from?……来自哪里?其答语为:主语+ be from + 地点.

如:—Where is she from?她来自哪里?—She is from Japan. 她来自日本.

归纳总结:能用Yes/No 回答的问句叫做一般疑问句.我们目前所学的一般疑问句结构为:Am/Is/Are +主语……?其肯定回答: .否定回答: ,也可用缩略形式:.

观察上组对话中的问句可以看出,句子的结构是由―特殊疑问词+一般疑问句‖构成,这样的句子叫特殊疑问句.特殊疑问句不能用yes 或no 回答,应根据问句内容,作出相应的回答.到目前为止,我们学习的特殊疑问词有:where ,what, how 等.具体说:

What 用于询问物,意思是―什么‖. ? Where 用于询问地点,意思是―哪儿,何处‖. ? How 用于对方式或身体状况提问,意思是―如何,怎么样‖. ?

你能从学过的内容中各找出一句含有上述疑问词的特殊疑问句并写在相应的横线上吗? 3.听并观察下列词:

观察①②组词,他们都含有相同的元音字母——;③④组词含有相同的元音字母___

再观察①组单词的构成,都含有一个元音字母且以不发音——结尾;③组单词的构成,都含有——个元音字母且以——字母结尾,象①③这样的词形称为开音节.在重读开音节中,元音字母发它们的名称音.

再观察②④组单词的构成,我们发现,它们都含有___个元音字母且以——字母结尾,这样的单词称为闭音节.在重读闭音节中,a 发 ;e 发 .

1.在英语口语和非正式的书面语中,为简洁及加快语速的需要,人们往往喜欢缩略形式.Be (am/is/are…)动词在某些名词、代词和少数副词之后可用缩略形式.请写出它们的缩略式.

再观察这些人称代词的位置和功能,位置:;功能.象这样的人称代词叫人称代词主格.

1.—How old are you ? —你几岁了/你多大了?

—I’m twelve years old. —我12岁了.

How old意思是―多大了,几岁了‖,它是一个特殊疑问词,用于询问年龄,其结构为―How old + be + 主语?其答语是:主语+ be +数字+(years old).

如:—How old is he ? 他多大了?

—He is eleven (years old).他11岁了.

2.—What class are you in? —你在哪个班级?

—I’m in Class Four ,Grade Seven .—我在七年级四班.

(1)What class +be+主语+in ? 用于询问班级,其答语是:主语+be +in Class +数字,Grade +数字.其中数字,Class, Grade 的第一个字母要大写.在英语中,―名词+ 基数词‖可以表示编号.这时名词的第一个字母通常大写,基数词若用英语表示则其第一个字母也大写;注意这时基数词应后置.表示―在某一班级‖、―某一年级‖等,要用介词in .

如:I’m in Class 3(Three).

(2)在表示―一年级二班‖时,英语和汉语的顺序相反,应先小后大, 即Class 2, Grade 1 3.—Who is that ? —那是谁?

This ,that 充当主语指人时,若用于问句,则回答时仍用this ,that .如:

观察上面右列数词并与左列数词进行比较,从13—19 都是以 结尾,其中14,16,17,19都是在4,6,7,9后直接加;fifteen 是变five 中的—为—后加,eighteen 是在eight 后只加 ,其它没有什么规律,需单独记.
