There had been a terrible accident on the highway and, for a result, there was a long line of traffic for at least six mile. There are many advantage of smiling. It can not only make us happy, but also please others. If we smile to life, life will smile to us on return. So I want to smile at all whenever and wherever possibly.

To everyone in the world, money was a sensitive topic. It is true that no one should live without money in modern society. People ha ve different opinions of money. Some people think one should live to make money, and others, make money to live.

In my opinion, the latter view may be reasonably. We should not be slave of money. No doubt money plays an important role in our daily life, but it does not mean nothing. We cannot exchange money into

friendship or love. Money indeed can make a person enjoy his life for a while but all his life. In a word, money is something but not only everything. People can’t live just for money.

Some day I happened to find a chatting room in my QQ, there people were chatting in English. I tried to chat with some of them. To my surprised, I found the orally English of some junior students was better than mine. I asked them for advices and they told me to practise more on QQ. But every day after that I would spe nd one hour practise my oral English on QQ. Day by day I learned from many useful words and expressions. With time go by, I found that I could even communicate some college students freely.

I was excited when I hear that our community was to have its own McDonald’s restaurant. I thought about all those young people whom would not have to go to the next town to buy its favorite burgers and chips. McDonald’s cares abou t health eating too and works with scientists to provide food that is high quality, safe and healthy. They often provide salads as good as burgers and chops. You can also choose between cola with milk shakes. Of course it also means more work for our area that need jobs badly. McDonald’s says they are interested in doing what is right for the community and being good neighbor. So I think they will be concerned about provide parking for the cars in our main street.

Our life today has many problems. One of the biggest problems are pollution. Water pollution has made our rivers and lakes dirty．It killed our fish and pollutes our drinking water. Noise pollution makes us to talk louder and become angry more easy. Air pollution is the most serious kind of pollution，what is bad to living things in the world. We need to do a lot of thing to fight pollution．Factories must clean our waste water before it thrown away. We can't throw waste things on the ground.

We can go to work by bus and with our friends in a same car. Everybody must help to fight pollution.

It was a year ago that Joshua got a bike for Christmas, but he rode it every day. One morning, he suddenly found the bike gone. Ran to his front yard, he saw a man loading it into his car. He shouted, but the man drive off. As a devoted Christian, he told his dad he real forgave the thief. What's more, he wanted the thief know he was forgiven. Today is World AIDS Day, and our school organized an activity calling “Take care of our lives, hand in hand with AIDS children”. At 8:30 am, we the volunteers gathered at

the school gates and started our bike trip. It took us about one hour and a half to getting to

the Red Cross Hospital, what most AIDS children are staying. Soon after we arrived, we

began to chat pleasant with them. Having got to know us well, we presented our gifts and

took lots of photos. Before leaving, we have lunch together. I felt very pleasing to see that

the AIDS children are not ignored and taken good care.
