5.In China, one’s educational level and competitiveness are decided by his or her ability to pass various examinations. As a college student, what do you study for, the ability to pass exams, or the ability to learn?

R: Hi, Y uki. We have been in college campus for half a year, and I meet some problems. Can you make some answers for me?

R: We all know the life in college is different from that in high school. We should change our pattern of study. We should not only study hard, but also learn to improve the skills to make us have a better development in our future. Y: That’s rig ht. As a student, what is most important is to have good study skills. The more skillful we become at studying, the more efficiently we will behave in our study life.Moreover, good students can keep both physical and mental interest in learning. We should choose our major, may it be maths or philosophy, it should be something that we are fond of.

R: en…It is important to make our study interesting and full of energetic so that it can be a kind of our favorite hobby. There is a proverb which says that the interest is the best teacher. However, although I am interested in one thing, I always can’t insist it for a long time. What should I do?

Y:Y ou are supposed to set goals, it indicates that something needs to be done to improve our study habits. We need to establish reasonable goals that achieve without being discouraged. What's more, we must set long term and short term goals to generalize what we want to learn.

R: Set goals? That’s a good a idea. Further more, once we enter the college, we are considered as adults who should start preparing to face the world, or the so-called society. In our society, everyone needs to communicate with others, so it is very important for us to improve our communicative ability.

Y: Y es, communication is of great significance to our life. There some advice which may be helpful for you. Firstly, we should be polite and friendly to others. Then we will become the ones that everyone wants to make friends with . Secondly, we had better be willing to hear others talk to we what happened to them. Thirdly, we need to have encouragement to communicate with others, especially with the shy persons.If you do like that, I believe we will get our communicative ability improved.
