1.Objectives

Most students would be able to ask the price of the clothes and master the expressions for shopping.

Learning&teaching content

How much is the pink skirt?It’s $36.

本单元的主要任务是学会询问衣物的价格和掌握购物用语,以及学会写一则小广告。

本课的任务主要体现在交际、阅读和协作方面,因此根据这个目标设计各项活动和任务。

1 Greeting

Students answer the teacher’s questions.

After greeting.Ask Ss some questions such as:

What’s your name?

How old are you?

What’s your telephone number?etc.

复习以往学过的数字0-9。

Singing a song

Students sing after the song.

Say:Today Lisa goes shopping with her mother.She wants buy something for her own clothes store.

When they go into a store,she hears a song.

Play the number song.

T:Can you sing after the song?

由Lisa想要为自己的服装店购物,引出本课的主题。一环扣一环。首先设计听一首数字歌曲,吸引学生的兴趣,同时也复习了以前学过的数字和学习了新的数字。

Numbers

Students recite the numbers from o to 9.

Students speak out the numbers from 10 to 20.

Students learn the new numbers and do Section B1&2a.

Say:We have learnt from 0 to 9 before.Can you recite them?

T:Very good.In this song, we learn some more numbers.Can you speak them out? Teach some more numbers:thirty,forty,fifty,

Sixty,seventy,eighty,ninety

Ask Students to do Section B1&2a.

教授新的数字,然后再加以练习,使学生掌握这些数字的读法、写法。

Presentation

&Practice

Students stand up and say English.

Students answer the teacher’s questions.

Ss to work in pairs to practice the sentence pattern:

How much is/are …?

It’s/They’re ……

Techer shows the pictures of a shirt,T-shirts,sweater and so on.

Then ask questions about them:“What is this/are they?

How much is/are ……?”

At last get Ss to work in pairs to practice the sentence pattern:

How much is/are ……?

It’s/They’re ……

学生站起来说英语,而且是他们学过的知识,他们一定兴趣高涨。通过图片的教案直观形象,学生更容易掌握。

学生之间对话,巩固本课的重点句型How much is/are ……?

Listening

&Exercises

Students listen to the tape and do Do Section B 2b.

Students listen again and fill in the blanks.

Say:There are so many thins in the store.Now let’s see what Lisa and her mother buy.Listen to the tape and circle the things Lisa and her mother talk out.

Ask students to do Section B 2b and then check the answer.

Play the tape again and get students to fill in the blanks

通过听力和填空练习,训练和提高学生的听力水平。

Reading

Students listen to the tape and read the ad.

Then answer the teacher’s questions and fill in the price tags.

T: Lisa and her mother buy a blue sweater and shorts in this store.Now they go to another store:Huaxing Clothes Store.At the door of the store,they see an ad.Now let’s see what the ad reads.

Play the tape for 3a.

Then ask questions about the ad.

阅读广告并从中找出有用的信息,能进一步提高学生的阅读能力。

Writing

Students to write an ad for Lisa’s clothes store.

T: Now Lisa knows how to open a clothes store.But she doesn’t know how to write an

ad.Can you help her?

Ask students to write an ad for Lisa’s clothes store.

Have one or two students share their ads with the whole class.

要求学生自己写一则小广告,能训练和提高学生的写作能力。

Groupwork

Students work in groups of three or four to make conversations.

T: Suppose you are Lisa. Now you have your own clothes store. You want to sell your all clothes. What should you do?

Three or four students a group, one to be Lisa, and the others to be the customers(顾客). Make conversations.

小组活动培养学生之间的合作能力,进一步提高交际能力,并巩固所学的购物用语。

Homewok

Make a plan about your own clothes store.Write a report about the clothes, price, color, people’s favorite(最喜爱的) clothes and so on.

要求学生设计自己经营服装店的构想,进一步巩固本单元的重要单词,短语和句型,同时也培养了学生的写作能力。
