I have seen an English teaching post advertised from your school in a local newspaper. I’m so interesting in teaching so I apply for the job. Now let me introduce myself.

My name is Stella. I’ m a graduate of South Ch ina Normal University in English Education. The first part is about my personality. I’m a kind, sunny and patient girl. I’m convinced that smile could not only help you go through difficulties but also let you have a good day. I’m sure that my sunny smile can have a great influence on my students. During my internship in No.4 Middle school, I found that teachers would have a great impact on students. If a teacher smiles his or her students would also smile and be in a good mood. So I wore a smile every day. And my students also did it, which made them study happily and efficiently. A lso you don’t need to worry that I may lack patience. I have been a worker in a manufacture factory for three months. My job was so boring but I could finish it with smile.

The second part is about abilities. As a student, I always get high marks in school, which means that I have a good knowledge of English. You can see it in the reference from my teacher. At the same time being creative benefits a lot in my teaching. Once I have been a volunteer teaching English in a middle school in Shaoguan City, where students consider English as a nuisance. I changed the traditional way of teaching vocabularies which lets students memorize a list of words. While studying the new words I showed some pictures related to the words and made some interesting stories with the words we had learnt. After it, I divided the students into several groups and held some contests in time. Thus, students could enjoy studying English.

The third part is about my weakness. Every coin has two sides and so do I. Sometimes I attach much importance to others’ judgments which may make me unhappy. From time to time I like chasing dead ends. I would spare no effort to study things that make me confused. I’m not an experienced teacher though I have been an intern for a year.
