3)情态动词have to 意为―不得不,必须‖,后接动词原形。例如:I have to do my homework now . 我必须现在做作业。have to 有人称,数和时态的变化。在一般现在时中,如果主语是第三人称单数,用has to 在一般过去时中用.had to . 例如:(1)She has to stay at home .她不得不呆在家里。(2)I had to look after my sister . 我不得不照看我妹妹。have to 在一般现在时或一般过去时中的定形式及构成问句时要借助于助动词do或其适当形式。(1)I don’t have to do my homework now .我不必现在做作业。(2)Do you have to do your homework now ? have to 强调客观上―不得不‖做事;must 指主观上―必须‖做事。We must study hard .我们必须努力学习。

4)I have too many rules in my house.我家里规矩太多。

too many 太多,用来修饰可数名词的复数形式。如:He can’t stand too many rules.他忍受不了太多规矩。

辨析too many,too much ,much too的区别

(1) too many的中心词是many ,用法与many相同,用来修饰可数名词的复数形式。如:

They’ve got too many quesyions to ask you.

(2) too much的中心词是much ,用法与much相同,用来修饰不可数名词。如:

She spent too much money on clothes.

too much 还可以作名词性短语,用作宾语;也可作副词性短语,在句中用作状语,修饰动词。如:

You’ve given me too much.你给我的太多了。

Don’t eat too much.不要吃得太多。

(3) much too的中心词是too,用法与too相同,用来修饰原级形容词或副词。

You’re walking much too fast. Slow down.你走的太快了,慢点。

1. I can’t meet my friends after school.

①meet v. 遇到,遇见;会见,会面,集合,迎接。例如:

②after school 放学后。固定搭配,中间不用冠词the 。

类似的短语有:

On school nights 在上学日晚上。night前若有其它词修饰,指具体的某个晚上,前面应用介词on。若泛指在晚上,则用介词at。

too many 太多,用来修饰可数名词的复数形式。如:

辨析too many,too much ,much too的区别

(2) too much的中心词是much ,用法与much相同,用来修饰不可数名词。如:
