The Interne is changing the world. It is important for us today. More and more people use the Internet every day, because it is fast and convenient(便利). The Internet can help us do a lot of things. We can do some shopping on the Internet. We can also use the Internet to find information, send emails, listen to music, watch movies and play games on the Internet. We can also chat with my friends face to face.

However, the Internet is not perfect. We should use it safely. Everyone can post information, and not all of it is true. Some people use the Internet to hurt others and try to get money by cheating.

In a word, the Internet makes our lives colorful. As a student, we shouldn’t spend too much time on the Internet, because it’s bad for our health. We should use it carefully.

I like to live in the countryside

I would like to live in the countryside because it is clean and quiet. Also, there are many houses with big yards in the countryside. But cities are often very noisy. There are many factories in cities and they make the air very dirty. The cost of living is high and the traffic is very heavy in cities, so I don't like living there.

My favorite animal

I like animals. I think they’re our friends. Among all animals, I like dogs best, because they can do more things for people than other animals. For example, some dogs can help people to look after houses, to find the lost children, or to help blind man to do things. I have a pet dog. Playing with it makes me happy and relaxed. Let’s share the world with animals.

How to protect yourself from the earthquake Do you know how to protect yourself from an earthquake? I have some suggestions. If you are indoors when an earthquake happens, you should stay under a strong table or desk. Remember to stay away from windows and protect your head. You shouldn’t try to run out of the building. If you are outdoors, move to clear areas and stay away from buildings and trees. When an earthquake happens, you had better stay calm. That’s the most important thing to do.

Music

There are all kinds of music in the word. Music makes people happy. Good music brings people comfort and peace of mind. Everyone loves music but different tastes.

I like classical music very much, because it’s very serious. I usually enjoy it at a concert or in a theater.

I like pop music very much. Pop music often comes and goes quickly. It is usually about love and everyday life. Pop music is very popular with young people. It can make us active.

I like folk music very much. Folk music is special. It is a part of the working people’s songs. Guo Lanying, Song Zuying and Tengri are famous for their folk songs. I like their songs very much.

In a word, music can make our life colorful.

Smoking and Health

Everyone knows smoking is bad for health. Many people often smoke too much. They may not live long. Many people die from smoking every year.

Smoking causes many illnesses. Smokers have bad teeth. A lot of people always cough because of smoking. Smoking can easily cause lung cancer.

Smoking is bad for smokers, and it’s also bad for women and children, too.

I hope all the smokers can give up smoking for themselves and also for the peo ple around them. Let’s enjoy clean air.

How to Save the Water

Water is important to all living things. All animals and plants need water. Without water, there will be no life on the earth. So we should do our best to save and protect our water. We must turn off the tap after we use it. We must save every drop of water in everyday life and tell our parents and friends about it. I think it’s our duty to save water.

How to keep healthy

Good health is more important than wealth. If we want to keep healthy, we must have some good living habits. First, we should exercise often to build us up. Second, we should keep our rooms clean and the air fresh all the time. Third, we should wash our hands often and change our clothes often. Finally, we had better keep away from crowded places. Eating habits is also very important. We should eat healthy food. We shouldn’t eat bad food.We should drink a lot of boiled water. We had better eat more fruit and vegetables, because they are good for our health.

In a word, health is more important than other things. It’s necessary for us to keep healthy.
