Because of the need of the work, I have to frequently travel around China. So I have experienced various ways of transportation. Comparatively speaking, I prefer the train. Traveling by train is a unique experience for me. You know you have to share a narrow space with others in a long time. I usually meet different people who have different characteristics. It seems like a small society, and you have to stay with the people you have never even met before.

But traveling by train is not as fast as by plane, maybe it‘s crowded and noisy there. However, it is cheaper and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery outside the windows. The most important I think is it is safer than traveling by plane or a car. Bed weather will not influence the train.

So I choose train to be my favorite transport.

The impact it has on me is that essentially it makes it easier to tell people serious things. I

I am an absolutely film fan. I like comedies best, because those could make me relax and laugh. Watching films for me is a way of releasing pressure. Right, well the music I'd like to talk about is hard rock. Some people call it heavy metal. I listen to it mainly while I'm on the bicycle going to work because it helps me forget about all

popular. Another group is called Tang Dynasty, or Tang Chao. The basic features of hard rock in China and the west are that the music is dominated by lead guitar and the beat can vary. It's loud, and there are a lot of mixtures of different styles including jazz, blues, country and calypso.

I think I like this music because it's a safe way for me to hear expressions of different complex emotions. Pop music in my opinion is just too shallow, and I can't stand those vain, over-groomed singers who have no other themes except struggling with feelings of love. Well, I picked a sport that I think is pretty easy to explain. I don't really know if you'd call it a

sport or not. Anyways, I chose bowling. Bowling is a sport that just requires you to roll a ball

along the floor and to knock over some targets. Those targets are called bowling pins. There are either 5 or 10 pins lined up about 20 meters in front of you. You just need to knock them all down by rolling the bal s down the aisle. If you can't knock them all down then you can receive some points for ones you do knock down. The rules are not complicated. You can't step over the line when you roll the ball down the aisle, and you

can't throw the ball. That's about it. The scoring system is done automatically these days. When I was young we had to manually calculate it, but nowadays it's easy.

I think the skill in bowling is really in how you practice your stroke when you release the ball. The balls can be influenced by the slightest spin, so you have to give just the right little flick of the wrist when you release it. It's not just a matter of keeping your arm straight as many people assume. So the best thing to do is just keep practicing and experimenting with different ways to throw the ball. If you just keep leaving it to luck, you will not improve, but if you try different ways of releasing the ball you will inevitably find a consistent style. Also,
