Good afternoon，dear teachers and schoolmates:

I am so happy to be here to give a speech to you, the title of my speech is “Let youth fly upwards”

Here is a story, once, there was a reporter, after he finished his interview with Li J iachen.He said to Li: “You are a rich man I am looking forward to be.” Li answered: “In fact, you are a rich man,too. I always want to be as young as you .” The reporter felt quiet surprised and requested “I am poor, I just a normal reporter,I am usually w orried about money, I felt really surprised about your answer.” “No,you are not poor,if I want to use all my wealth to buy you youth,will you sell it to me?” Of course no body will do so.

Known as it is, everybody has their own youth .It might be invaluable for everyone

Today, standing here, I can proudly say that we have gone through a former naive child to became a today's lad. Some of us can say : “I just a normal man ,no talent,I have no much special! I can not sing or jump , writing poems or painting. It seems that my youth is boring. But I don’t think it is right. a saying goes, to be eligible for the biological pyramid there are only two: eagles and snails. There is only a little talented peple in the whole word just like Beethoven, Mozart Or Fang Zhongyong So, as a normal person ,Althought I cannot be a snail or an eagle, but I will study from the snail.

Being a high school student,I must pay more attention to learning.Sometimes maybe i will feel a little bit tired ,but I don’t mind it.Because I believe “Fruit comes from hard work and sunshine is after a rain. No pains,no gains(不劳无获)!

Let our life be beautiful like summer flowers ,try my best, some years later, I will be great.

Motherland, I love You Forever

As for today, we've just celebrated the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. I'd like to express my sincere wish to my dearest motherland. It is true that, as the National Anthem describes, we're a people who will not be slaves, who is single-hearted, who is enterprising in the enemies' guns.

The National Anthem not only records the brave fighting history of Chinese people, it also makes us inspiring at present. Take a look at China's history and you'll find that the long 5000-year history is a history of countless misfortunes: the natural disasters, the civil wars and the foreign invasions. However, Chinese people have shown great bravery and have struggled against the enemies home and abroad.

We can't forget the lesson changed with blood and we cherish our happy life which is replaced with countless lives much more. Our older generations built up a wall with blood in the most dangerous condition. Now, we should accept the challenge firmly like our older generation to shoulder the great career of revitalizing China and sacrifice everything for it if necessary. We help each other in times of hunger and poverty and we comfort one another in times of illness and disaster.

What we have built together in China is something very great and noble. A country whose values of tolerance, understanding, generosity have made us what we are: a society where our number one priority is the respect and dignity of all our Chinese.

Other countries invest in weapons; we invest in the well-being of our people. Other countries resort to violence to settle differences; we work out our problems through compromise and mutual respect. In my opinion, this is what we've accomplished.

While, on the other hand, whether China can be strong and powerful depends on whether we can inherit the spirit of solidation enterprising and sacrifice. Only so, China in the 21st century can go first in the world with a strong posture, and then China will have the most brilliant people and richest resources to be the most civilized society in the world. Therefore, as a part of our great motherland, what can I do for her?

In the first place, I would study harder to go deeper into the realm of knowledge

"Knowledge is power", says Francis Bacon, we should keep learning day by day to maintain our keen mental power, to expand our intellectual capacity for the refinement of our character. The lack of learning for just a few days will make us lag behind, likewise loses the intangible competitiveness of our future. I'm proud that I can be one of the helpful builders of our dearest motherland, and I've made up my full mind to try every means to study harder in order to better contribute my share to her in the near future! What's more, as a future builder, I must also get prepared for a strenuous life and be brave to face any hardship or difficulty that I many encounter in my life and studies. As a result, it is very necessary and important for me to take physical exercises for some time every day so as to build a strong and healthy body. I have enough confidence that I can accomplish my goals in the future!

It is true that China is still not perfect. But I cannot think of a single place in the world that comes closer. Not a single place where people lead or will lead better lives, where they live in greater peace and security. Because our country has always been able to adapt and change to meet the hopes and aspirations of our citizens. We've done so in the past. We're doing so today. And we will definitely continue to do so in the future.

Let's love our motherland. It is the hottest and noblest affection which emerged from the deepest of our heart. Loving our country has no condition, and loving our country is speechless. Only when we love our country, can our nation become one of the most powerful nations on the earth!

我爱英语

As everyone knows,English is very important today.It has been used everywhere in the world.It has become the most common language on Internet and for international trade. If we can speak English well,we will have more chance to succeed.Because more and more people have taken notice of it,the number of the people who go to learn English has increased at a high speed. But for myself,I learn English not only because of its importance and its usefulness,but also because of my love for it.When I learn English, I can feel a different way of thinking which gives me more room to touch the world.When I read English novels,I can feel the pleasure from the book which is different from reading the translation.When I speak English, I can feel the confident from my words.When I write English,I can see the beauty which is not the same as our Chinese... I love English,it gives me a colorful dream.I hope I can travel around the world one day. With my good English, I can make friends with many people from different contries.I can see many places of great intrests.I dream that I can go to London,because it is the birth place of English.

I also want to use my good English to introduce our great places to the English spoken people,I hope that they can love our country like us. I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after continuous hard study, one day I can speak English very well. If you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable. So I believe as I love English everyday , it will love me too. I am sure that I will realize my dream one day!

Today, my topic is that China is the word that has changed the world. China is not only a word, but also a kind of high quality porcelains originally made in China, a symbol that has been well known all around the world, a culture that has been producing great effects on the world literature. Above all, it is a nation that stands in the East like a giant.

China is a nation with a history of five thousand years. So China began to change the world at the very beginning. Chinese porcelain, nay, china, was one of the greatest inventions of Ancient China. Europeans began to make copies of those beautiful Chinese porcelains as soon as they were introduced to Europe in seventeenth century. China made the whole of European porcelain industry blossom. At the same time, it promoted the development of European economic history and the European Industry Revolution. Moreover, four great inventions of Ancient China are k nown to every household. They gave enormous impetuses to China’s politics, economics, and civilization. What’s more, they made great contributions to the world civilization. They were introduced to the west in succession long before the production of European modern civilization. Then they became the necessary premise of Bourgeois development and provided material base for Bourgeois to board the stage of politics.

China has changed the world from the past to the present. Now, more and more people in overseas countries start to learn Chinese and turn to a Confucius Institute in their own countries as their first choice learning Chinese language and Chinese culture. As a second culture, Chinese culture has enriched the life and world outlook of the learners. This trend, so to speak, is gathering momentum and is there to stay. Apart from their love for Chinese cuisine, more and more learners of Chinese language are turning to Chinese acupuncture, herbal medicines, and martial arts. They are also interested in kung fu films, fashions and crafts. Seemingly outlandish words such as dimsum, ginseng, gingko, oolong cha have crept into their everyday language. The latest Chinese cultural icons to make its impact there are Taoism, and ancient school of thought, and fengshui, an ancient art of placement.

There is a beatiful country standing in the east of the world . She covers nine millions and six hundred thousand square kilometers. People of about 1.3billion live and work together on this land .She has red soil , big mountains, long rivers and hardworking people, she is just like a diamond ,shinning all the time ,and she is my dearest country that is China ! Surely ,she is brilliant ;and surely ,she is Great.

I 'm proud of the beautiful scenery my motherland has. She has so many great places of interest ,which are known not only to every citizen ,but also to the world .When the foreigners talk about China ,they all extend their thubs and say yeah,China is a famous and fantastic country! We have the Great Wall ,the world's second longest river, the oldest history and the most glorious culture .How marvelous it is !

I'm proud of the history my motherland had gone through China is a country with 5,000 years of civilization. It has formed its fine historical and cultural traditions, which have been either developed or discarded with the changes of the times and social progress. China produced in its history many outstanding philosophers, statesmen, strategists, scientists, writers and artists and left us numerous volumes of literature. Particularly, China's four great inventions of paper making, gunpowder, printing and compass had once changed the face of the world.

I' m proud of the the different races of my motherland. Each race has its own culture and customs. Some people are kindhearted, and some are generous, but the same trait of them is industrious .Because of their hard-work , our motherland is developing day by day .Our country is becoming much stronger than before .

Our great motherland has just celebrated her 60th birthday, with glory and happiness. it was definately sucessful and encouraging to those who struggle in this life to free its people from rule by foreign forces. she set many goals and systematically and practically achieved them. Look back on the sixty years that she has gone through, she was poor and weak, but now she is rich and strong, she used to be bullied, but now she has a great power that is strong enough to shake the whole world. I 'm really proud of my motherland, China. It 's she who overcame lots of difficulties and made such progress.

I'm proud of these achievements that our motherland has got. She accomplished

returned . and she joined the World Trade Organization with the strong economic capability. She independently made the Shenzhou rockets and they all lifted off successfully. She held the 28th Olympic game, the most splendid and incredibel one the world have ever had.

As the new generation of our rapidly developing country , still greater contributions should we make to our nation. Love Your Life 热爱生活

However mean your life is,meet it and live it ;do not shun it and call it hard names. It is not so bad as you are. It looks poorest when you are richest. The fault-finder will find faults in paradise. Love your life,poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant,thrilling,glorious hours,even in a poor-house. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the alms-house as brightly as from the rich man's abode;the snow melts before its door as early in the spring. I do not see but a quiet mind may live as contentedly there,and have as cheering thoughts,as in a palace. The town's poor seem to me often to live the most independent lives of any. Maybe they are simply great enough to receive without misgiving. Most think that they are above being supported by the town;but it often happens that they are not above supporting themselves by dishonest means,which should be more disreputable. Cultivate poverty like a garden herb,like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things,whether clothes or friends.Turn to the old,return to them.Things do not change;we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts.

I have a dream

Every one has his own dream.When I was a little kid ,my dream was even to have a candy shop of my own .But now ,when I am 16 years old ,standing here ,my dreams have already changed a lot.

I have got quite different experience from other girls.While they were playing toys at home,while they were dreaming to be the princesses in the story .I was running in the hard rain,jumping in the heavy snow,pitching in the strong wind.Nothing could stop me ,because of a wonderful call from my heart -- to be an athlete.Yeah ,of course ,I'm an athlete,I'm so proud of that all the time .

When I was 10 years old ,I became a shot-put athlete.The training was really hard ,I couldn't bear the heavy shot in my hands .But I always believe that "god only help those who help themselves".During those hard days,I find I was growing more quickly than others of the same age.To be an athlete is my most correct choice.But,I quit my team after entering high school because of a silly excuse.I really didn't want to stop my sports career anyway.

Today I say to you my friends that even though I must face the difficulties of yesterday ,today and tomorrow .I still have a dream .It is a dream deeply rooted in my soul.

I have a dream that one day ,I can run,jump and pitch just like I used to be.

I have a dream that one day , I can go back to my dream sports and join the national team.

I have a dream that one day ,I can stand on the highest place at the olympic games.With all the cameras pointing at me.I will tell everyone that I'm so proud to be a Chinese athlete!

This is my hope .This is the faith that I continue my steps with!!!

With this faith ,I will live though the strong wind and heavy rain ,never give up !

So let victory ring from my heart,from all of you.When we allow victory to ring .I must be the one!
