Man Does Not Live By Bread Alone It is widely acknowledged that the extremely basic problem we face in our life is bread and clothes. We need them to get fed, clothed and sheltered. But man does not live by bread alone. On the one hand, we need bread to exist. On the other hand, we also need spiritual satisfaction to make our life full of gorgeous color. Above all, material thing are crucial for man's existence. Only when our simply inner desires for material things are satisfied, may we consider the other thing. It can bring a temporary and short-term happiness and give us an extravagant lifestyle. When we stand on the point of view of the hungry, we would rather spare no effort to seek food than talking something above recent condition.

However, it cannot bring us the true happiness because we will not be satisfied with it. If we had one thousand dollars, we would be eager to get two thousand dollars. If we got it, we would have a desire for more.

So, as the old saying goes, we eat to live but live not to eat. That is to say, bread is only a support for us to

live our life. So we need pursue a higher level of spiritual satisfaction, which can give us everything outside our necessities and make our life meaningful. Man does not live by bread alone, but by beauty and harmony, truth and goodness, work and recreation, affection and friendship, aspiration and worship, loving and being loved. Only, with those things, can you feel you are fulled with what you want. So we should establish friendship, find love, work hard for our dreams and something like this.

From what has been discussed above, we may reasonably arrive at the conclusion that bread is incredibly essential, for you need it to survive. But it is not the only thing, which you only need in your wonderful life, and the money itself will not bring lasting happiness to most people. So there is no doubt that man does not live by bread alone.
