第一课时(语法及课文P26 1a—1c)

五、本课时重难点突破预案:

(一)语法突破:语法:直接引语变间接引语的方法。

语法:引述某人的话一般采用两种形式:一种是直接引语,直接引述别人的话;另一种是间接引语,即用自己的话加以转述,被转述的内容不放在引号内。

一、直接引语变间接引语.(1)陈述句的间接引语

直接引语是陈述句,变为间接引语时,在多数情况下都构成一个that引导的宾语从句,引述动词通常是say, tell等。与此同时,间接引语中的人称、时态和其他方面也要相应有所变化。

1.人称的变化:

The foreigner s aid to me, “I like Beijing very much.”

那老外告诉我:“我很喜欢北京。”

→ The foreigner told me that he she liked Beijing very much.

那老外告诉我说他(她)很喜欢北京。

2.时态的变化

如果主句的谓语动词是一般过去时,直接引语变间接引语时,从句的谓语动词在时态上要作相应的变化。如果主句的谓语动词是现在时,从句的时态则无需变化。时态变化的

3.指示代词、时间状语、地点状语和动词的变化。见课本P100-101.

(2)疑问句的间接引语 1.一般疑问句

一般疑问句改为间接引语时,要用陈述语序,并要加连词if 或 whether,主句中的谓语动词是said时,要改为asked。没有间接宾语的,可以加一个间接宾语(me,him或us),句末不用问号。

My teacher asked me, “Do you like American country music?”

我老师问我:你喜欢美国乡村音乐吗?

→ My teacher asked me if/whether I liked American country music. 我老师问我是否喜欢美国乡村音乐。

(3)特殊疑问句:间接引语为特殊疑问句时,由相应的连接词who,what,whose,how,when,why,where等引导,注意从句必须用陈述语序,主句谓语动词常用ask。

He asked, “How do you like it?”他问:你觉得怎样?

→ He asked me how I liked it. 他问我觉得它怎样。

She asked me, “What's the matter with you?”她问我:你怎么啦?

→ She asked me what was the matter with me. 她问我我怎么啦。

(4)直接引语如果是祈使句,其间接引语由:主语+tell/ask/order sb.(not)to do sth+其他。如果祈使句为否定式,在不定式的前面加上not。如:

“Open the door”,she said to her little son.

→She told her little son to open the door.

“Don’t smoke in the room,”he said to me.

→He told me not to smoke in the room.

(二)句型突破:

1.She said she was having a surprise party for Lana on Friday night.

她说她准备在周五晚上为拉娜举办一个惊喜聚会。

这是一个含有间接引语的复合句。因为主句中用了一般过去时,所以在直接引语变间接引语时,时态要发生相应的变化,如一般现在时改为一般过去、一般将来时变为过去将来时等。如:

Lucy said to me, “I am going to Pairs next Sunday.”

=Lucy told me that _______ ______going to Pairs next Sunday.

六、针对性练习:完成间接引语,每空一词。

6. be supposed to do sth.被期望或被要求做某事 (否定形式:be not supposed to do sth.)也可以翻译为“应该做某事”。

Not … anymore/any more意思是“不再”,相当于no more.如:

对于肥皂剧《年轻人的生活》中的人们来说,这是令人兴奋的一周。

句中的in the soap opera“Young Lives”为介词短语作定语,修饰名词people.介词短语作定语时,要放在被修饰词的后面。如:

(2)The man under that big tree is my Chinese teacher.

那棵大树下的那个人是我的中文老师。

2.I had a really hard time with science this semester,and I wasn’t surprised to find that my worst report was from my science teacher.这学期的科学我学得很吃力因而我对最坏的评语来自科学老师并不感到意外。

(1)have a hard time 意思为“费力,费劲”。后跟动词时要用其动词的ing形式。如:I had a hard time passing the exam.我很费劲地通过了考试。

(2)be surprised to find意为“惊讶的发现…”,如:

I am surprised to find that my net friend(网友)is my sister.

我惊讶地发现我的网友是我姐姐。

(1)above sea level意为“在海平面以上”,反义词为below sea level。

(2)make sb. do sth.意为“使某人做某事”,如:

The teacher made me stand outside.老师叫我在外面站着。

3.When her year was over,she said that she would return to the area after finishing her studies.志愿者生活结束时,她说完成学业后她还会回到这里。

(1)her year在这里指“她的志愿者生活”。Year有时可指“年代,生活”。

(2)after finishing her studies为介词短语,作时间状语。After为介词,因此后若跟动词要用动名词形式。如:I often watch TV after finishing my homework.做完作业后,我经常看电视。

4.Cares for wild animals in danger.关注濒临灭绝的动物。(1)care for是固定短语,意为“照料,照顾;喜欢”,表示“照料,照顾”时,可与take care of,look after互换。如:

Would you please care for /look after/take care of my cat while I’m away?我不

(2)in danger意为“在危险中”,其中danger是名词,意为“危险”,其形容词形式是dangerous,其反义词是safety“安全”。如:
