1 Description of product

This product is E10P modified alkyd. It has good compatibility with other resins such as polyisocynates and acrylic resins. It could help improve the compatibility of KA2108-60. It also gives good transparency and leveling of film.

A special process of the modification will maintain a suitable ratio of primary and secondary hydroxyl groups in polyols used, thus leading to a good through drying property of the film due to continuous cross-linking.

2 Applications

This product could be applied for flat & lacquers of PU and NC system. And also it could be used for primers. In top coats, it has good transparency and easy to be matted. In primers, it provides the film well-sanding properties. Due to abundant double bonds induced from TOFA, this product could be air drying as one pack formula after addition of metallic driers such as cobalt naphthate. If it is formulated into two pack PU system, anti-skinning agents is inevitable base on our experiments.

5 Storage and package

It should be stored under cool and well ventilated condition, and avoid to direct sunlight and getting caught into rain.
