?Initialize test head interface card

?Initialize all the installed resource board ?Runs on system startup & Visual ATE startup

HandlerMrg.exe

?To create & manage interface card-based handler ?Integrated into maintenance mode

ASL.exe

?Runs the User Interface

?Create source file from user entered data

?Create all the required C++ file (*.dsp, *.c++, *.h)

Test.exe

?Controls test head instrumentation

?Link the compiled DLL and direct the tester hardware to test device Both ASL.exe and Test.exe must be running to test device

Confirm item before power on

1. The AC110V/AC230V select switch of power supply on AC230 side.

2. Confirm the PC select switch, the supply is AC230V

3. DMM has A fuse selection, confirm the orientation, AC220V is selected.

Procedure

1. Tester power off

2. Confirm CAL DUT and tester equally matched in configuration

3. Connect confirmed CAL DUT to Multimeter by BNC cable

4. Agilent Multimeter power on, tester power on

5. Run initial via desktop shortcut

6. Access ASL1000 Visual ATE through desktop icon

7. Enter User Name and Password.

Maintenance Calibrate & verify instruments

9. Double click at “Configured”

10. “Set to Actual” to make configuration same as actual

12. Click “Run selected diagnostic(s)” from popped up menu 11. Select needed boards, right click on selected area

13. Pass calibration, calibration is finished

MUX CARD

Resource Multiplexer

●Has eight banks of four relays each ● 2 types MUX_01and MUX _02

Each relay can be programmed independently

●200V at 1.5A

Less than 500us settling time

●500V at 1.0A ●

DVI-Dual V oltage/Current Source

●Dual channel, independent, programmable +/-45V ●16 bit on board ADC performs measurement

● 3 versions-200mA, 300mA, 2000mA

●Differential measurement can be done

OVI-Octal V oltage/Current Source

●Octal channel, independent, programmable +/-21V ●16 bit on board ADC performs measurement

● 2 versions-20mA, 30mA

●Differential measurement can be done

TMU-Time Measurement Unit

Is a precise timer with start and stop condition controlled by programmable voltage threshold comparator ●Can be used to measure

-Rise time -Fall time

-Propagation delay

PVI-Pulsed V oltage/Current Source

Is a fully floating instrument for the generation and measurement of high current pulses.

● 2 versions-10A, 100mA

Initialization fail, PC no response

Error message:

Binary database corrupted

?Possibly caused by invalid program execution

?Run clean.bat

?Access init, launch Visual ATE

?Reset PC, hold down key when startup windows ?Run clean.bat on desktop ?Access init.exe

?If no error, finish the process

?

If hang again, tester power off, replug interface board, confirm interface cable connection

Error message: DVI forcing invalid range ...

?Possibly caused by using invalid DVI version

?Check tester configuration, confirm DVI-300 or DVI-2000 is needed ?Call Engineer

Error message: Memory read “#********” Error

?Possibly caused by invalid board configuration

?Check tester configuration in MAINTENANCE, refer to device config boards, confirm boards are enough or not

?Call Engineer
