Company description:

This business is for building a special hotpot restaurant, located at east gate of Swufe. It named “crazy hotpot”. It can hold 60 covers. The decor of the restaurant will be concise and comfortable. Give customers a clean and nice environment. The restaurant located in the east gate, with potential consumers in neighboring communities and colleges.

The crazy hotpot restaurant is a partnership based venture aimed at promoting a special hot-pot style eatery with 100,000RMB as initial capital and 5,000 RMB as circulating fund. The aim of this restaurant is to provide fascinating alternatives to the more traditional style hot-pot restaurants. This distinction is the main characteristic that will be promoted to create its own market share amongst its competition. Though there is a specific marketing distinction between its competitors,the restaurant will still maintain a high quality standard of food that will come about via the purchasing of fresh ingredients and by using an experienced team of kitchen staff.

Product differentiation:

The restaurant wills provide different types of hotpot meal, including special and classic Sichuan spicy hotpot, Chongqing hotpot, The Manchurian hotpot, Nabemono japan hotpot dishes, Taiwan hotpot and so on, all these with improvement to taste and health. Food production and assembly will take place in the kitchen of the restaurant. Fresh vegetables, meat and dairy products will be used to crate most of the dishes from scratch.

The soup bases are the soul of a hotpot restaurant. We will provide authentic flavors of different special hotpots to cater different favorites of different people. Those soups will be tasty healthy and low-oiled.

The company's goal is that of a multi-faceted success. Our first responsibility is to the financial well-being of the restaurant. We will meet this goal while trying to consider;

Organization & management:

The legal form of our business is partnership.

And 4 people in our group will run this business together: restaurant manger, operational manager, HR managing and accounting manager. There are 5 or 6 store management personnel and waiters.

Market analysis:

Business advisers say that the food industry is saturated and any new entrant faces huge obstacles. For us, these obstacles are giants – the established Sichuan hotpot restaurants chains and other delicious restaurants. Yet we cower not. We sincerely

believe in our food and service. Further, we strongly believe that people will never stop trying new things. In fact, customer satisfaction concerns us way more.

Our target consumers are both young and old, males and females, especially active teenagers and youth. They are generally fond of hotpot and interested in different kinds of hotpot. Their activities don’t take up most of their working hours. A grand and fancy hotpot meal will always be a welcome try.

Marketing sales:

Using the right promotion will help the restaurant to attract more customers and create more awareness within the target market; this will help the restaurant to increase the total revenue. It’s important to present th e new image consumers through seasonal promotions.

Every day a lot of residents and college students go to work or hang out will pass through the east gate and look the advertisements. So I advertise and put out the handbills in the crossing. Advertisement in residential buildings and dormitories for 7 days before opening the restaurant will expand its influence.

I hope find some suppliers provide quality and cheap materials. And my restaurant will have a good relationship with them, develop a long-term cooperation

In terms of starting discounts, for the first month, we will provide 10% discount to the entire products. During the afternoon tea and non-meal peak discount, around 2:00p.m.-5:00p.m. Consumers can get a 10% discount. It is really a good method to take full use of space and time.

As for daily special price, every day, we will select one product as a daily Special offer, which will be sold at a low price.

Festival food combos:

For instance, at Valentine`s day, we will provide combos with lovely dessert and rose-sized patterns. During Halloween, special combos like pumpkin soup base will be provided. Furthermore, when Chinese New Year`s Eve come, we will provide special dishes for family reunion dinner.

VIP Card: For consumers who purchase more than 500 RMB once or accumulated 1500RMB in our restaurant, they can obtain our VIP card.

Advertising in prior period: Before opening our business as well as the first two months, we focus on introducing ourselves and building our reputation in local area. We hope through this way, we will attract more potential customers around. The media

Competitor: There are many competitors around and within east gate. Crazy hotpot Restaurant must differentiate the restaurant from competitors in order to be more competitive. Direct competitors are other traditional and popular hotpot restaurants. Indirect competitors are other special restaurants

Future plans (year 1 to year 10):

The maximal capacity of our restaurant is around 60 people. At the perfect situation, we can receive 2 turns of customers for afternoon and lunch time and 3 turns for the busy dinner time.At the very beginning time, we can only get about 25% of the perfect situation, which means at each dining time, we can only have less than maximal capacity of customers. But as we doing longer time, the customers will increase due to our promotion, advertising and introduction from customers. And the increasing rate we estimated is 5%. For a reserved estimate, after 6 months, our sales will be stable, and the profit is respected stable. We are well-known in around area. So after one year, we can easily achieve our objective to repay our capital.

Two years into operations, Crazy Hotpot has broken even. As business continues to grow, the company will need additional staff and equipment for better service in the amount of $25,000.

We will expand into other locations and increasing the profits of its founding partners and its short term goals of increasing the initial capital of its investors.

In further 3 years an orderly management system is needed to make the operation more efficient. The company needs to consider more about creative operations and being innovative. We will have well-established company procedures, be famous among Chengdu restaurants and develop to a franchise corporation in China.
