?put on

①put on是动词短语,在此意为“增加(体重)”。

?that/if/whether引导的宾语从句及用法

①宾语从句是用一个句子作宾语的从句,通常由连接词来引导,如:that,if,whether。

②that引导宾语从句时无实意,通常可以省略。

③whether和if引导宾语从句时,意为“是否”,通常可以互换。

④宾语从句有三个要素,即:关联词、时态和陈述语序。
