教学主题 A country music song changed her life forever

一、教材分析

1. 本单元话题是文学和音乐。话题功能是能谈论最近发生的事情或经历。本单元Section B 部分的主题是音乐。该部分不仅呈现了与音乐话题相关的词汇,还通过听说读写活动进一步巩固学生对目标语言——现在完成时的认识和理解,并要求学生能够围绕音乐话题进行口头和笔头语言输出。

2. 活动2a-2b为Section B 部分的阅读板块,读前活动列举了几个问题,要求学生思考并回答问题,为下一步的阅读做好铺垫。活动2b要求学生阅读文章,获取细节信息。通过阅读,把握文章各段落核心,培养学生归纳段落大意的能力,在对文本理解的基础上,对整篇文章的大意进行总结。

二、学生分析

1、由于学生是八年级的学生,经过了一年半的学习,掌握了大量的语言能力,对英语的分析能力也比七年级有了很大的提高。但阅读技能的培养还不能放松,所以我们在教学的环节里面除了注重学生的语言知识的学习外,还为学生设置了不同的阅读微技能活动。

2、我们这里的学生大部分来自农村,基础薄弱,在英语学习上会有不少困难,

所以我们充分发挥思维导图的优势,设置的任务台阶低、密度大、层次性强,力争给有差异的学生设置合适的教学目标,在发展学生自信心的基础上激发学生的求知欲。

三、教学目标

1、通过学习,学生应该能学会文段中出现的重点句型,词汇和短语。(让学生参照《同步学习》)(知识目标)

2、通过学习,学生能够在阅读中利用图片信息和文章标题进行预测并获取文章大意。(技能目标)

3、在细读文章的基础上,学生可以借助思维导图的提示概括文章大意进而能够复述课文。(技能目标)

4、通过学习美国登山家Aron的真实经历,学生学习用积极的心态,顽强拼搏的精神应对生活中的灾难或者困难,学会在关键时刻做出正确的选择。(情感目标)

五、信息技术应用思路

1、通过对阅读文本的认真研读,用心领悟后,以及对本班学生已有的阅读水平及

文化背景知识的了解,将阅读课的大量信息做成了PPT,使教学内容更加直观,加快课堂教学节奏,让学生充分感受乡村音乐之美。

2、从John Denver演唱会视频中截取Take Me Home, Country Roads一小段做成了微视频,让学生观看微视频,体验乡村音乐之美以及在视觉、情感方面带给人们的震撼。(应用于学生阅读前的热身)

3、利用思维导图,以Sarah的经历为主干,以who, where, what, why, how 为分支从中央图形向四周放射,聚焦Sarah’s change,country music和Sarah’s dream, 帮助学生去梳理文章的脉络,使文章结构更加清晰,提高课堂教学的有效性。(应用于学生阅读的过程中)

4、与PPT结合使用,利用电子白板的交互作用,较好地发挥师生互动的功能。

5、在阅读课前,播放乡村音乐经典名歌Take Me Home, Country Roads,阅读后视频欣赏Garth的The River,结束时候播放乡村音乐背景音乐,努力创设音乐氛围情境,体味乡村音乐之美。

雅思口语话题常见问题一:你要描述的人是谁?Who this friendis?/Who he or she is?/Who thisperson is?/Who the character was?/Who these two people are? 这个问题是几乎所有人物类话题的第一问,属于必答题。回答这一问题的时候,我们不但需要告诉考官这个人是谁(这是最基本的),而且要对所描述的他/她进行一些修饰,要让考官在没有见过这个人的情况下能够闭上眼仿佛看到这个人就正站在身旁一样。评书中所说的“此人眉分八彩,目若朗星,准头端正,齿白唇红”起的就是这一作用。比如我们来一起看看下面这段对人的描述: He is well oversix feet tall,has this long straggly brown hair.
