Tom with his axe(斧子) was stepping through the wood when a small tree called to him and stopped him on his way, “Please clear away those trees around me, kind friend. They stop me playing freely. The sunlight cannot fall on me and my roots cannot spread. I find no room at all. If you can help me, my friendly shade should cover the whole area, but now you see! I’m brushwood—a litt le plant.”
