1. on、above都表示在某物体的位置上,但是,on是在物体的接触面上,而above 则是与物体有一段距离。

2. Please take things to your sister.(祈使句:动词用原形)

3. football: ①soccer ball 英式足球

②rugby ball 美式足球(橄榄球)

4. let’s = let us dislike = don’t like

5. It is some salad. ( salad是不可数名词,因此谓语动词用it。)

6.可数名词与不可数名词:

⑴可数名词的定义:普通名词所表示的人或事物,是可以按单个来计算的。

⑵不可数名词的定义:如果普通名词所表示的事物,一般来说,是不能按单个

来计算的。

7.省略主语的祈使句:

⑴Close your book, please!(肯定句)

⑵Don’t open your book. (否定句)

8. I like apples, she likes apples, too.

9. dinner和supper都有晚饭的意思,但两者还是存在区别的,dinner 是指大型饭局,而supper是指家常便饭。

30.序数词的构成:

(1)一般在与之相应的基数词后加th

(2)“第几十”时将基数词二十以上的整数中的y变i加eth e.g. : twenty →twentieth

(3)“第几十几”时,属于几十的整数部分用基数词,而个位数部分用序数词。

e.g. : ninty-three→ninty-third

(4)特殊:first , second , third , fifth , eighth , ninth , twelfth

31.名词所有格:

(1)概念:在英语中,有些名词可以加’s来表示所有关系,这些名词形式称为名词所有格。

(2)形式:①’s ②of

表示有生命的事物用’s格,表示没有生命的事物用of格,另外,表示时间、距离、国家也用of格。

(3)特性:当后面的名词被名词所有格所修饰时,不必加the.

e.g. :It’s the room. →It’s Lily’s room.

32.名词所有格中’s格的用法:

(1)单数名词词尾一般加’s

(2)若原词已有复数形式,则在其后直接加’s e.g. : the teachers’office

(3)当是复数名词,但没有带’s ,则需加’s

e.g. :Children’s Day Women’s Day People’s Park

(4)表示两者共同拥有的人或物时,仅在第2个名词后加’s

(5)表示两者各自拥有时,在各名词后加’s

33.特殊:双重所有格,e.g. :He is a friend of Lisa’s.(他是丽莎的其中一个朋友。)

34. want to do sth :想要做某事

Unit 9

1. go to a movie = go to the movies = go to the cinema = see a movie = see the film

2. kind:

(1)做名词,种类:What kind(s) of movies do you like ?

(2)做形容词,和蔼、善良:It’s very kind of you to say that.(你那样说是非常善良的。)

(3)做副词,有点:The toy is kind of cute.

3. look是不及物动词,其后不能直接接宾语。 e.g. : Look at the blackboard.

同种用法:listen e.g. : listen to the tape

4. and与but:

(1)and:

和,并列连词 e.g. : Ben likes comedies and documentaries.

(2)but:

但是,转折 e.g. : I like apples, but I don’t like bananas.

5.复数形式变化(较为特殊):

(1)以fe或f结尾的单词变fe或f为v加es

e.g. : wife →wives leaf →leaves

(2)不规则:child→children woman→women

(3)单数与复数同一形式:Chinese , sheep

一般疑问句可用单数提问,回答时根据实际情况。

7.否定前移:

e.g. :①Tom thinks comedy is funny. ②I think so.

→Tom doesn’t think comedy is funny. →I don’t think so.

8. find :过去式,found 过去分词,faund

9. exciting , funny与interesting的区别:

(1) exciting : 使人兴奋的、激动的 e.g. : an exciting match

(2) funny : 滑稽的,可笑的,有趣的 e.g. : a funny joke

(3) interesting : 引起理性的、智慧的兴趣 e.g. : an interesting story-book

10.副词放在be动词和助动词后面,行为动词前面。

11. I’m often late for school.

12 .learn与study的区别:

(1) learn : 初步地学习、了解。

(2)study : 带有学术性的、研究的。

13. with和and的区别:

(1) with : I often play basketball with my father . ————主语是I

(2) and : My father and I often play basketball . ————主语是my father and I

2.情态动词:

(1) 用法:用来说明能力、意愿等。

(2) 举例:can , must , may ……

(3) 特征:①情态动词后接动词原形,构成谓语动词。

②情态动词没有人称和数的变化。

③情态动词充当be动词。

e.g. : He can speak English.

She can’t speak English.

I can speak English.

Can you speak English ?

We can speak English.

3. paint与draw的区别:

(1) paint : 指用颜料来画,比如油画、水彩画等。

(2) draw : 指用铅笔、钢笔或粉笔来画,一般不上颜料。

4. speak作及物动词时,必须接表语言的动词。

5.书法: handwriting 擅长于某方面:be good at

e.g. : I am good at handwriting.

6. play :及物动词sing、dance : 不及物动词

7. be good with sb : 与某人友好相处,善于与某人相处

e.g. : ①Are you good with kids ?

②Our math teacher is good with us.

8. help sb with / do sth : 在某方面帮助某人

e.g. : ①Can you help kids with swimming ?

10. with后接名词或v-ing形式

(1)or用在疑问句和否定句。

(2)and用在陈述句和肯定句。

(1)Why not +动词原形?

1. at +具体时刻 e.g. : I go to school at 7:00.

2.频率: often (经常) = usually (通常) = always (总是)

副词:放在行为动词和实义动词前,情态动词后。

3. what与when的异同:

(1)异:what的范围小 e.g. : What time ?

(2)同:when的范围大 e.g. :When is your birthday ?

4. take a shower = have a shower (洗澡)

5. go to school与go to the school的区别:

(1) go to school :去上学、学习。

(2) go to the school : 去学校,不一定是去上学、学习。

同理: go to church与go to the church go to hospital与go to the hospital 6.感叹句的组成结构:

(1) 引导词What + 不定冠词+ 形容词+ 可数名词单数形式+ 其他+ !

job是可数名词,work是不可数名词

6.忙着做某事:

(1)be busy with sth.

e.g. : My last class is at 2:00. After class I have volleyball for two hours .

8.形容词放于be动词后做表语。

9. play with sb :跟······玩working out : 算出ask sb for help : 找某人帮忙

10. be strict with sb :对某人严格要求be strict in sth : 对某事严格要求
