课堂用语：

教师的课堂教学用语从教学功能上可分为五大类：1．招呼/问候语2．提问语3．反馈语4．指示/演示语 5．告别语。

1．招呼/问候语参考用语：

随着新课程教学改革的不断深入和发展，在英语课堂上用英语组织教学已经成为非常普遍和自然的事情，充斥汉语的状况已不复存在。正确地使用英语组织课堂教学，有利于形成浓厚的语言氛围，提高学生的学习积极性，在没有翻译程序的环境中，学生在真实的语言环境中能将英语和客观事物直接联系起来，同时也有利于提高学生运用英语进行交际的能力。

一、根据学生的语言知识水平和认知特点，遵循循序渐进的原则

结合学生的实际水平年，由浅入深，由简到繁，由易到难地使用课堂用语，可以使英语课堂用语与学生的认知发展融为一体。要避免随意性，根据学生的语言知识水平和认知特点，确定课堂用语的使用。这样，不仅可以使学生巩固旧知识，而且可以帮助学生加深理解和灵活运用新学到的知识。随着学生语言能力的不断提高以及教学课程的延续，课堂用语应循序渐进地增加难度，增添新的内容，使课堂永远充满吸引力，不断激发学生的兴趣和热情。

二、坚持实用性原则

用英语组织教学，使师生之间用英语进行交流，这是真实的交际。。因此，从初一年级开始就要鼓励学生大胆开口说英语，并使他们养成习惯，产生师生共同活动的效果。在初一学年，教师应使用一些较简单和易懂的课堂用语，如：Good morning Class. Class begins. Good. Very good. Right or wrong? Yes or no?随着学生语言水平的不断提高，教师应根据情况连续地自然而流畅地使用课堂用语。如：Please turn to page…Come up to the blackboard, please! Make sentences after the given model. T ry to tell the story in your own words. Let’s have a general review of what we have learned so far…

教师应注意使用英语的节奏，尽量用正常的语速，要培养学生只听教师说一遍就能回答的好习惯。如果教师担心学生听不懂，有意放慢语速、节奏，甚至把问题重复过多，不但影响学生正常的听力反应，而且还容易使学生产生厌烦情

绪，不利于交际活动正常的进行。这样通过长期使用课堂用语，学生运用英语进行交际的能力必定会有较大的提高，同时学生的学习兴趣也会不断增加。

三、尽可能多地使用英语

使用课堂用语一定要持之以恒，坚持到底，切不可半途而废。在课堂上凡能用英语表达的并估计学生基本能理解的东西，应尽量用英语表达。用英语教英语是从交际的角度来要求的，因此必须以学生能听懂为标准。为此，教师可配以表情、手势、简笔画，并尽可能使用学过的英语来解释或介绍新授内容，以降低语言难度。要力戒将英语课堂用语译成汉语，因为使用英语组织教学的目的就是让学生尽可能多地接触英语。有些英语教师常常说出一句英语课堂用语之后，因怕学生听不懂，于是立即将其译成汉语，这样学生记住的就是汉语而不是英语了。

四、注意运用激励艺术

要实现师生间真实的交流，在教学中，教师应结合具体的情况使用课堂用语，即使是表达同样的思想或内容也应尽量运用不同的表达方式。这样可以使语言更加灵活，准确。学生也可以更好地理解和模仿而不致感到单调乏味。教学是一门综合艺术，英语教师既要有效地进行语言知识的教学，也要很好地运用激励艺术。这两者有机地结合并始终贯彻于教学之中，才能不断地激发学生的求知欲，进而增强其信心。如：Don’t be shy! Come on, you can do it. Well done. You are doing better. Don’t lose your heart.

教师在课堂上表示赞叹和表扬时，若总是仅仅局限于讲“Good.”或“Very good”，就体现不出语言使用的层次和等级，体现不出针对性，因而不易引起学生的共鸣。教师根据学生的表现程度和回答问题的情况，可以说：“Excellent.”“Wonderful.”“You are very clever.”等，使学生明白评价的等级差异。

五、注意语言的规范

教师的课堂用语要选择合乎英语习惯的说法，注意语言的规范性，语音语调要正确，养成良好的表达习惯。学生的模仿能力很强，他们天天在课堂上听老

师说话，久而久之，就会把教师的发音语调及说话的方式和习惯，甚至口头禅都学去了。因此，要求教师时刻注意自己语音、语调的准确和规范同时还要注意养成良好的说话习惯，发音要清楚响亮，力求做到自然、流畅，这样可以帮助学生形成使用地道英语的观念，减少汉语对他们的影响。

正确使用英语课堂用语是外语课堂教学的一个重要组成部分，是培养学生直接用英语思维的一种有效手段。作为一名英语教师，应十分重视正确使用课堂用语，充分发挥它在英语教学中的积极作用，从而使教学更有成效。

首先，要确保课堂用语的正确。

教师的教学语言是学生学习的样板，要想培养学生正确使用语言的良好习惯，教师应当给学生作出榜样，英语教师尤应如此，避免在课堂上出现一些不规范的语言。从我自身来说，有时因为说话过快，出现种种口误。如名词的单复数，宾语从句的词序，动词短语的搭配等。比如，Can you guess what does the word mean? 正确的说应该是Can you guess what the word means?（你们能猜猜这个单词是什么意思吗？）Can you make a sentence about “what color”? 正确的说法应该是Can you make a sentence with “what color”?（你们能用what color来造句吗？）虽然口语不能象书面语那样严谨，出现不规范的句子是常有的现象，但是作为语言教师，我们应该以教师良好的语言习惯为学生示范。

其次，避免使用无效的课堂用语。

在英语课堂上，有些教师包括我，为了突出英语课堂的特点而刻意使用大量的，无效的，繁杂的课堂用语。从表面看，这些用语确实

实现了新大纲注重语言交际的要求，但是实际上，我认为有些无效的课堂用语或者无关紧要的话完全可以省略或者通过手势、体态将要表达的意思快速地传达给学生，从而提高课堂效率，让课堂节奏变的快起来，减少不必要的停顿。前一段时间，我刚听了一位英语教研员的示范课，她的课堂用语给我留下了很深的印象。这位老师的课堂用语很有特色，基本上很少重复说“read after me”，“one two start”，“sit down please”之类的话，课堂用语很精练，提高声调的时候学生自然也就明白此处应该一起朗读，有时候一个表情一个手势就可以让学生站起或者坐下，所以整节课让人感觉很紧凑很舒服，没有繁冗的罗嗦的话语，从而大大提高了整节课的效率。相反，有些老师经常使用不必要的用语，如请学生回答问题时反复说“this girl please”“this boy please”,感觉老师讲的比学生还多。实际上，只要学生训练有素，有些课堂用语完全可以被平时的习惯所代替。

最后，教师应该向学生适当介绍和总结一些比较重要的课堂用语。

对于初中生来说，尤其是英语基础不好的学生，词汇量不够大，缺少一定的语言环境与交流空间，所以教师用一连串的英语课堂用语来发号施令，有些学生不但听不懂，反而会使他们失去对英语学习的兴趣。我想，教师应该及时整理出一些自己在课堂上常用的用语，展示给学生看，帮助他们记忆、理解，不再害怕听不懂老师在课上的要求和指示，从而也能提高他们的信心和兴趣。比如：

教师在课堂上能全部或大部分用英语组织教学，能使得课堂上的英语气氛明显变浓。对于我们每一位中学英语教师来说，还要不断学习和思考，确保课堂用语讲得准确、流利、有效，注意从教学效果的角度揣摩课堂语言特点，从中提高自己的课堂用语水平。
