一、教学目标：

1、能理解对话的大意，并用正确的语音、语调朗读对话；

2、在能够境中运用句型What’s the weather like in New York? It’s rainy. 问答某地天气情况；能够运用句型Is it cold? Yes, it is. No, it isn’t. 确认某地天气状况并能运用句型

It’s 26 degrees.表述气温。（重点）

3、能够在情境中理解生词和短语New York, rainy, how about, degree的意思，并能正确发音；

4、了解中西方对气温描述时的差异；了解几个国家的国旗及主要城市。

二、教学重难点

1、句型What’s the weather like in New York? It’s rainy. Is it cold? Yes, it is. No, it isn’t.的理解和运用。

2、运用句型It’s degrees.对气温进行描述。

1. free talk

T: Good morning, boys and girls. Now it’s spring, the weather is warm and sunny. It’s suitable for traveling. Would you like to come to travel around the world with me?

S: Yes!

T: now let’s go. First, we can enjoy a song to begin our trip. Now let’s listen and sing together.

2.sing a song

（after listening the song）

T: Can you tell me the song is about what?

S: weather!

T: good! You are so clever.

Presentation：

1. 教授what’s the weather like in...?

T: now I’m worried about the weather during the traveling. At first, we will travel to Beijing. (出示国旗，让学生猜国家名) and I have a friend he lives in Beijing. Let me ask what the weather like in Beijing is. (打电话)

(T：hi, mike. This is ….

M: hi,…

T: I will travel to beijing. What’s the weather like in beijing?

M: it’s cold here.

T: oh my god. Thanks. Goodbye

M: bye.)

出示北京天气，问学生：what’s the weather like in Beijing?(板书)

S: it’s cool. T:补充： yes, it’s rainy，too.（板书句型）（出示rainy单词和句型教读） It's not suitable for traveling there. Now let’s ask the second place: Sydney. How about Sydney? （板书句型）Who want to try to ask the weather? （出示悉尼天气）

S T 对话（拿电话询问）（S：hi, this is …. T: hi,… S: What’s the weather like in Sydney? T: it’s hot and sunny.）T: it’s too hot, we can’t go there.

T: How about London and Toronto? （出示两个地方的天气与句型，学生小组合作练习）Now you can practice in groups using these sentences. （学生对话老师可说适当评价语言）

2.教授句型Is it...? Yes,it is. No. It isn’t.

T：Sydney is hot, London is suitable for traveling. How about new York?(出示纽约天气) is it warm? (引导学生回答,板书Yes，it is.) Is it cold? (引导学生回答并板书No, it isn’t.)

再出示几幅图片操练句型。

What’s the temperature?（其中一副图片）

T: 引导学生回答20 degrees.(教读，学生齐读，个读)

T：20 degrees is warm in China.We usually use centigrade degrees to express the temperate. But in America, they usually use Fahrenheit degrees.(ppt 出示英语表达方法以及汉语意思) now let’s see these temperatures (出示几个温度比较，教学生表

达). So it’s different between Chinese and American culture.

3、T：our friend Mark and Chenjie want to travel with us ,but now they are talking on the phone.

( 出示图片)

T：What’s the weather like in this picture? S: it’s rainy.

T: How about this picture? S: it’s sunny.

T: yes ,now let’s listen what are they talking about? What’s the weather like in New York? After listening, you should answer these two questions.

Now are you ready? Let’s go.(课件出示两个问题。听录音)

（听录音后）

T：let’s see the two questions. First one , who’s the volunteer? 回答后出示答案，适当夸奖。

T：the second question? You, please.（出示答案，适当夸奖)

4.Now let’s listen and repeat.(学生跟读)

5.出示对话后两句。T: when ChenJie says:26 degrees, why does Mark make a surprise? You can explain in Chinese.(学生可用汉语解释，如没有，老师解释)

课件出示 26摄氏度和26华氏度的区别,(温度计显示) T: so 26 Fahrenheit degrees is about minus 3.3 degrees.( 26华氏度等于零下3.3摄氏度) so they make a mistake. Let’s read together again.(学生读)

6、学生练习：now boys and girls, you can practice this dialogue with your partner.(学生练习，老师可随堂指导)

7、师生对话练习

Stop here, boys and girls. Now let’s act this dialogue. I’m Mark, you are chenjie. Ok? Ready? （适当评价）

8、Who wants to try to act this dialogue? (学生2组)

三、Consolidation

1、play a game

T:If you want to travel around the world with me ,you should finish some tasks. I give some pictures, you should finish them with your group mates. Who want to show us? (每张用A4纸打印两个城市的天气状况，学生问答)

T： You all complete the tasks, congratulations. You are hard-working and clever.

2.I have another task. Fill in the blanks. Can you finish it?

I need two students to read this dialogue.who want to try? You are very smart.

3.The last task, after that, we can travel around the world. Come on.

This is an essay, first you should read it carefully, after reading ,you should finish some exercises.
