Step 1准备与热身(Preparation)

T:What's your favourite subject?

Step 2呈现与输入(Presentation)

1.Look at the sentences in picture 1a first and listen to the tape carefully,then put the conversation in order.Let some students to read it in whole class.(2a) 2.T:Now we'll listen to a conversation.In the conversation,people are talking about the school subjects.(2b)

Before the listening,read the subjects and descriptive words,and ask students to repeat. Tell students what each descriptive word means.

Play the recording for the first time. Students listen and finish the work.

Play the recording for the second time,and ask students to repeat the listening after the tape.

Then check the answers.

Step 3练习与体验(Practice)

First,ask students to read the sample conversation in 2c so that they can know how to do this activity.

Then ask students to make conversations using the information in 2b.

Leave them five minutes to do it.

Finally,invite several pairs to act out for the whole class.

Step 4运用与生成(Production)

First,ask students to read through the conversation in 2d silently so that they can get the main idea of it.

Then teacher reads the conversation, have students repeat sentence by sentence,and explain the meanings at the same time.

Divide students into two groups to role-play the conversation in turn.You may encourage students to make their own conversations by substituting the key words.

Later,leave students enough time to role-play the conversation in pairs.
