[设计理念]

初三学生面临中考的考验,使得老师注重题海战术,学生学得乏味、吃力。而我的观点是:英语作为一门工具学科,要让学生学得轻松愉快,在愉悦的气氛下掌握知识,形成能力。本课是学习语法:动词后的副词。语法教学本身一定是枯燥乏味的,所以作为老师不能让学生死记硬背语法规则,而应该让学生在活动、练习中自然掌握语法规则。因而我在课的开始阶段就设计了有趣的活动,如听录音判断说话者的心情、根据图片说形容词和副词、根据生活录像猜副词,让学生能以好奇愉快的心情展开学习。巩固拓展阶段除了传统的习题练习以外,我还设计了游戏、头脑风暴和编故事等活动,在活动中培养学生实际运用语法的能力。同时我精心设计了多媒体课件,让学生在学习过程中加入视觉的冲击,产生强烈的学习动机,从而能自觉地运用英语进行交际活动, 培养学生的语言交际能力,从而促进“听、说、读、写”教学,提高英语教学的实际效果。

[教材分析]

1.本课介绍了世界人口迅速增长的状况以及所带来的一系列问题,同时也提到了欧洲的低

出生率及老龄化问题。人口问题是世界性问题,是本课重点教学内容。就其内容而言,难度不大,同时具有很强的开放性,作为八年级的学生,已经通过各种渠道对世界和我国的人口问题有所了解,并且具备了一定的英语基础,有能力来学习这部分知识。本课以雄辩的事实对同学们进行人口教育,说明控制人口增长的重要性和必要性,使他们进一步认识到中国实行计划生育政策的必要性和深远意义。

2.本课学习过去完成时态的构成和基本用法,为后面两课学习带有过去完成时的宾语从句

作铺垫.

3.本课询问学习询问人口情况的句型(英语中就人口提问只用what),表达自己观点的句

型,以及表达赞同和反对的句型。

[学生分析]

本班级同学英语基础较好,有少量的学习困难生。总体水平不错,但在口语交际和语法知识方面还有欠缺。因而我的教学重点主要放在培养学生灵活运用语法规则的能力方面,给学生提供一个英语交际的场合。考虑到初三学生随着年龄的增长,活跃性方面不如起始年级,因而我在课堂中设计了游戏活动和讨论活动,让学生们产生学习的动机,提高课堂效率,从而能自觉地运用英语进行交际活动。

[教学反思]

根据目前的英语教学潮流,课堂教学强调对交际运用英语的能力的培养,因而一提起语法教学,我们就会将它与枯燥的讲授和大量地做习题联系起来,而我却认为,只要我们教师去精心设计安排,语法课照样能上得生动有趣,本课的实践就足以证明了这一点。

在课的设计上,我努力做到知识性和趣味性相结合。做到既能保持学生们学习英语的热情,又让他们能掌握新课程标准所要求的“枯燥的”语法知识。中学生对新鲜事物具有很强的好奇心,天性喜欢好玩的东西,过于严肃机械的练习不能引起他们的学习热情。因此,我在设计课时摒弃了那些直接的、机械的练习,多提供机会让学生在有意义的、生动有趣的情景中练习和运用所学的新项目。

在课的引入阶段,我播放了一段“London Bridge is falling down."的韵文(verse),让学生根据录音中朗读者的语凋来配上适当的副词:doubtfully, joyfully, excitedly, sadly,充满了趣味性,让学生怀着新奇的心情展开新知识的学习。在新知识的呈现上,我通过一组图画让学生讲出他们的感觉(How does he/she feel?),再由形容词引出副词的学习。在学习副词的构成时,我先呈现实例,让学生根据例子总结语法规则,以加深他们的印象,再配以检测练习,达到熟练掌握的程度。

在巩固阶段,我通过用课文中Happy Day的宠物店发生的事情,创设了实际的情景,让学生在实际的运用中操练语法。后面的游戏环节是本课的亮点,我设计了"The adverb game"和"Brainstorming"两个项目,让学生以小组竞赛的方式进行副词实际应用,巩固所学的语法。

作业布置除了语法练习册外,还布置了让学生选用一定的副词编一个关于Carfield Cat 的故事,由于学生对于Carfield Cat十分喜爱,现在自己能编关于他的故事,积极性自然极高,从交上来的作文中可以看出学生对于副词的熟练运用。

整堂课的美中不足在于:由于我新接班不久,学生的课堂活跃度还不够,特别是不敢表演,放不开,在今后的教学中,我会多加努力,培养他们这方面的能力。

四级专项训练——听力讲义 一、四级英语听力四大题型简介 听力理解题量大,有46道之多,(249分))总分的35%。分成ABC三个小部分,用时35分钟。 Section A短对话部分,8组对话,只听一遍间隔5秒。每个对话设一个小题,要求同学们根据对话内容从四个选项中选择正确答案。短对话一般是在一男一女之间进行的一问一答。问题一般由先讲话的人提出。题目均以问句形式出现,其中多数是特殊疑问句。 长对话,共有两篇,针对每篇长对话的问题可能会有3-4个,共七题。占听力总分百分之五。长度一般在6-20句之间,字数在120-250字之间。速度是每分钟130词。与短对话相比,长对话涉及的内容更深入,人物态度,语气,情感变化更复杂,一般不能简单依赖某个关键词来判断整篇对话的含义。一人一句的短对话涉及的只是一个“点”,而长对话涉及的是一个“面”。短对话的答案一般是“显而易见”的,而长对话有时更依赖于推断和判断。长对话部分要求同学们对信息量瞬间记忆和瞬间提炼的能力更强。尽管如此,长对话必然有一个中心议题,对话双方都是围绕该中心而展开话题,对于长对话而言,做出正确选择的关键就是把握住对话的中心思想。 Section B短文理解,。这部分由三篇文章组成,每篇短文后有3~4道题,每题为一个问句,共10个小题,录音的语速为130~150WPM,文章的篇幅为150~250左右。主要考查语音识别能力,语言理解能力、短期记忆力、和快速判断能力。很多同学都曾有过这样的感觉,做小对话题型时问题不大,提高也较快,但到了短文部分却往往觉得不知所云,经过练习提高也并不明显,有时甚至觉得听懂了,做题时却无从下手。小对话属于日常口语对话内容,理解和记忆都不构成太大的负担,段落理解题文章篇幅长,信息量大,复杂句多,题材范围广,每一段的主题和相关词都不一样,似乎没有什么规律可循,在录音只放一遍的条件下很容易难倒考生。如何迅速抓住文章脉络,把握考点;和对段落题出题规律的了解。如果增加一些这方面的意识,面对试题就可以从容不迫了。真正做到不论短文内容有何变化我们都能胸有成竹,轻松应考。 Section C是复合式听写,复合式听写由两部分组成。用时25分钟。第一部分为8个单个单词的听写,要求考生在每个空格中填入一个所缺单词,第二部分是是补全信息3个句子(并列、复合句和主从复合句)要求考生根据所听内容写出要点。允许用自己的语言。尽量写出原句,至少指示内容的关键词或短语要体现出来,可以用同义近义词替换,但绝不能过度发挥,自编自创,或出现明显的语法错误。全文是一段250个单词左右的短文,朗读三遍。第一遍是全文朗读,没有停顿,要求考生听懂大致内容。第二遍朗读时,第一部分在每个空格后稍有停顿,让考生填入所缺单词,第二部分之后停顿稍长,大约45秒钟。让考生根据所听到的内容写出主要意思。第三遍与第一遍一样,没有停顿,供考生进行核对。“复合式听写”这一题型,它比听力选择题更强调语言综合运用能力。复合式听写是综合考核考生辨音、拼写、做笔记和书面表达等多种能力的一种题型。从文体类型上看,97年为故事,98年为人物传记,2001以后全部为说明文,难度在增
