浅谈小学英语教学中“chant”的运用 笔者从事小学英语教学已有多年，在英语课堂中，孩子们最喜欢的就是“chant”的教学。每当这个时候，我在孩子们的眼里看到的不仅是欢笑更是跃跃欲试的信心。可见，“chant”在小学英语教学中有着举足轻重的作用。 《义务教育英语课程标准》指出：激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣是小学英语教学的任务之一。教师在教学过程中，应不断探索新的教学模式，想方设法以新颖、丰富多彩的教学手段，激发学生的学习兴趣，让学生在说练学唱的轻松气氛中习得语言，并获得快乐。就外研版新标准小学英语教材的编排而言，每一个教学模块中的“chant”以其丰富生动的内容、抑扬顿挫的语音语调、明快的节奏、隽永的韵味而深受孩子们的喜爱。它们不仅可以活跃课堂气氛，同时也能帮助我们解决一些课堂教学中的疑难杂症。下面，我就结合自己的教学实践谈谈“chant”在英语教学中的运用。 一、在单词教学中的运用 单词教学是小学英语教学的一个重点内容。然而，单词的记忆也是枯燥乏味的。针对这种情况，运用“chant”编排学习内容，可以达到事半功倍的效果。例如，外研版小学英语第三册modle 1 unit 2中的chant： ten big lions at the zoo. twenty bears and a kangaroo. thirty elephants in a row.
