2. This board after reflow and wave soldering temperature, the aging test can test it out,

and through the analysis of NG ratio, so we think this board is individually undesirable

phenomenon, will not cause the bulk of the poor, please rest assured to use. If this

problem cause the terminal customer complaints and returns, recognized and confirmed by our

company, we will bear the losses.

3. We have not D/C8888 stock in factory. And the total hipment quantity is 7941PCS of

D/C8888.

D4. Root Cause （原因分析）

Happen reason:

1. The main reason causing the inner line and ring hole separation is the poor desmear.

(PTH process:Leavening →Desmear→Pre-neutralization →Neutralization →Entire hole →

Pickling →Microetching →Pickling →Prepreg →Activation →Prepreg →Acceleration →

Electroless plate )

2. According to analysis the adverse picture: Multilayer removing the residual epoxy resin

and glass fibers on cell wall by potassium permanganate. It's to form a reliable 3D

combination. But the board in the plating process miss desmear, so in the chemical copper

cylinder the cell walls is difficult to deposit a fine layer of copper, then the defect

occurs.

Out of reason:

1. After investigation this board PTH on March 12th, due to drilling burr cause to remade.

After remade OK, this 5 PNL boards turn to PTH process. But because the staff miss the

desmear, so the defect go out. (attach 1: Rework record)2. This board inner layer circuit with the hole wall was have a little connected, so our ET

machine tests "PASS".
