My thoughts on 理智与情感

My thoughts on 《sense and sensibility》Recently,i am reading a book called‘sense and sensibility’.It tells a story happened in the end of 18th century,it is about the course of two girls named Dashwood seeking true love and happy marriage.The author Jane Austen show us a real scene of life in Britain at that time,in which a girl has no advantage to get married.

The elder sister Elinor is full of sense so that she can understand the world in a sober mind.However,her younger sister Marianne just treat the world as her sensibility,as a consequence,she always feels childish but pure and kind.Well,they have a little sister,at the age of 13,and she can’t understand her sisters’pursues towards love and passion of life.Besides,their mother Mrs.Dashwood is easy to get happy or sad,her life is always not easy and filled with light sorrow,just like her daughter Marianne. Maybe you will feel it some boring while reading it,but believe me simple life tells significant ideas.You can gain too much about love﹑family and life.Okay,return to the book,we must know some relationship of the family of Dashwood.At first,you may think it complex and you are confused by their branches.In fact,it’s common to find a

large family facing the problem of fortune,which is the main cause of breaking.While,no matter how back-breaking life is,you still need to continue what you believe towards the beauty of tomorrow.

In other words,we should never forget to believe our goal and belief of value about our life.Every corn has two sides,we are born to win,but we also can be a loser of life.what we need is just perseverance and diligence.If you want a better life,life will challenge you more and harder;if you only need a easy life,then,your problems are easy,too.As an old saying goes‘NO PAINS,NO GAINS’,never believe a fantasy that what you want will fall off the sky by thinking of it but doing nothing.

Usually,the best is the hardest.As a college student,i have goal and dream,and i know the importance of perseverance and diligence.But speaking is much cheaper than doing.Therefore,i think i need to build a stronger heart and confidence.By the way,to be modest,especially to yourself,always remember that do not count your chickens before they are hatched.I appreciate what Elinor have done for her family,it was what she did that helped the whole.Thus,one can save the world sometimes.

Misfortune tests the sincerity of friendship.What kind of people you make friends with have a big influence on the altitude you will reach in future.We should be shy of favors bestowed at the expense of others.what we really need is not that large,to be honest,we can have a simple but meaningful life if you are willing to.

I really feel that reading is beneficial to our life,because characteristics of those figures is just like a mirror that reflects our real life and own quality.We are experiencing a different life which we may not have when we are reading a book.

In a word,this book benefits me a lot,and i will keep the habit of reading to improve myself everlastingly.
