AMPS– 级移动电话服务。为模拟蜂窝系统,使用800MHz频谱。
Analog Access Channel– 拟接入信道,移动台用来接入系统获取服务的一种模拟控制信道。
Analog Color Code– 拟色码,基站通过话音信道发送的模拟信号,用来判断移动台是否被干扰基站所捕获,或者基站是否被干扰移动台所捕获。
Analog Paging Channel– 拟寻呼信道,用来寻呼移动台并发送命令的一种前向模拟控制信道。
Analog Voice Channel– 拟话音信道,一种进行话音通信的信道。
Analogue System– 拟系统。使用模拟信号进行传输的移动电话系统。在此信道上一些简单的数字消息也能从一个基站或移动台传送到另一个基站。
ANSI–American National Standards Institute 标准学会,是北美的标准制定机构。
ANSI-136– 动标准,过去被称为过渡标准IS-136 TDMA 为D-AMPS 统中。
ARIB–Association of Radio Industry Businesses 线行业企业协会,是日本的标准制定机构。
ARTIS– 动发射识别系统。
ASCI–Advanced Speech Call, 进话音呼叫业务。GSM Phase II+ 标准制订的新业务。其中包括优先级业务 (eMLPP) 话音广播呼叫业务(VBS) 话音组呼业务 (VGCS) 专用移动通信的基本业务。
AT&T– 电报电话公司。
AuC–鉴权中心。
Authentication–鉴权,基站在系统接入时对移动台的真伪进行验证的过程。
Bandwidth–带宽,通信资源的信息容量,通常以每秒比特计量。
Base Station– 窝移动通信业务中区别于移动台的电台,用来与移动台进行无线通信。
BCCH– Blank-and-burst– 发,在信道中的信令,当话音短暂终止时发送突发数据。此数据可以从基站传向移动台,也可以从移动台传向基站。
Blocked Calls Cleared System– 统,当呼叫发现所有服务器都处于忙时便离开该系统,对系统不产生影响,也被称为呼损清除系统,爱尔兰-B 这种状况。
