As is known to the world, Hamlet is a classical character in the tragedy of William Shakespeare. He is the prince of Denmark, esteemed and admired by subjects. There is no need for him to care about how to earn life due to his excellent family background.
Before Hamlet’s father dead, he was immersed in an ocean of felicity, which let him ignore the black side of society. In this condition he was optimistic, sunny and innocent. But there was an unbearable misfortune in store for him which smashed his world. Then he dropped into a miserable abyss from the beatific heaven.
When Hamlet heard father’s death and came back to Denmark, he only saw the wedding of his mother and uncle. He was so miserable that there were not enough energy for him to spare to fight back and the only thing he can do is to grin and bear everything. This time he showed weakness and noticed the black side of society. He suspected that his uncle poisoned his father and possessed the queen. But this suspicion didn’t prompt him to revenge .Sentimental and hesitated, he was high and dry.
After the conversation with the ghost of his father, Hamlet was overwhelmed by hate and make up his mind to avenge father’s death. The idea of revenge and thought of life were too heavy for him to carry. Account of his indecision and weak volition, Hamlet is doomed to have a tragic fate. When he succeeded in avenging father’s death, he smashed all beauties in his world.
