清晨，李梅照例五点四十分就到了瑞海苑小区。这时候业主们都还在酣睡着，小区显得很安静。她是小区的清洁工，朦胧的路灯光下，她的身影显得孤单而寂寞。丈夫去世了，女儿上大学全靠她，她每天的工作就是把H区绿化带打扫得干干净净。

瑞海苑是这座城市的高档小区，是白领集中居住的地方。在一条两边开满杜鹃花的甬道上，李梅仔细捡着晚上掉落的叶子，她觉得这么漂亮的小区不应该有一点垃圾。突然，地上一样东西让她的心抖．了一下——那是一条金光闪闪的项链！还有一个海蓝色心形链坠！

“这是谁掉的呢？”她看四下没有一个人影，便将项链捡起，揣进衣服口袋里。

八点前，李梅早晨的工作结束了，周末睡懒觉的业主们还未起床，她便回到家，打算晌午再去小区寻找项链的主人。
