旨和本质。在中国，传统的女性社会地位很低，没有机会展现
自我，而选美比赛恰好提供了这一平台。我方并不是说选美比
赛是女性唯一展现自我的平台，但它的确是一个很好的机会，
是女性自由的标志。
2、选美比赛能够影响社会，让社会的注意力转向女性，使得社会
更加自由、民主及平等。坦白的说，选美比赛很难选出所有人
都喜欢的美女，例如：2014年日本小姐的结果让大家大吃一惊，很多人说这个女人很丑。但是，什么是民主，民主就是我不同
