Teaching aims:

and “duck”.

2)Ss can master what the letters “Aa”, “Bb”, “Cc”, “Dd” say.

Step 1 Warm up

1)Greeting

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

Ss: Good morning, Miss Xu. Thank you!

T: Great.

2)Let’s sing

T: Let’s sing A B c song. OK?

Ss: A B C ….

Step 2 Preview

1) Elicit “Aa, Aa, Aa, apple.”

T: Look, what’s this?

Ss: Apple.

T: Listen.

Apple: Hello, I’m Apple.

T: Aa, Aa, Aa, apple.

2)Listen and say

Red Apple: Aa, Aa, Aa, apple.

Green Apple: Aa, Aa, Aa, apple.

Yellow Apple: Aa, Aa, Aa, apple.

Step 3 Presentation

1)Elicit “Aa for apple”

T: Aa, Aa, Aa, Aa, for apple.

Ss: Aa, Aa, Aa, Aa, for apple.
