I. Text-related Background Information

1. Steve Tobak

Steve Tobak is a management consultant(顾问), an executive coach, and a former senior executive (主管) of the technology industry. He's managing partner of Invisor Consulting, a Silicon Valley-based strategy consulting firm.

2. Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs (1955-2011) was the cofounder of Apple Inc. (originally Apple Computer, Inc.). He also was one of two men who started the company. Apple makes personal computers and also develops and publishes computer software. Under his leadership, Apple introduced the iMac computer and iPod music player.

Steven Paul Jobs was born in Los Altos, California, on Feb. 24, 1955. Paul and Clara Jobs of Mountain View, California, adopted Steve that same year. While in high school, Jobs took a summer job at a company where he met Stephen Wozniak, an engineer. In 1975, Jobs and Wozniak started Apple Computer. In 1984, Apple introduced the popular Macintosh personal computer. In the late 1990's and early 2000's, Jobs oversaw the development of many popular Apple devices. These included the iMac, the iPod, and the iPad tablet computer.
