There are three graduation pictures we can see. Each of them has 22 students. In the primary only 4 students have glasses on their eyes, but the number of myopic (近视) students adds to 13 in the senior picture. It is worst that in the collegial

picture only 2 students don’t wear glasses.

From the picture we can see, the rate of students who are myopic is increasing sharply. This condition cannot be disregarded.

The reason why more and more students wear glasses is probably that they live and study under high pressure. In modern society, the exam-oriented education （应试教育）gives students too much stress, they have to study very hard to get high scores and to win a better future. Even during their spare time, they are sent to different kinds of agencies to learn more things. They are so tired that they have little time to rest their bodies and their eyes.

In fact, I don’t think it is fair and good for the children who are growing. They should have the right to decide their own life. They deserve a happy and healthy life.

In this picture, a young man sits in a deck chair eisurely in his dormitory, making a phone call to his mother. He says that he has sent his dirty clothes home by EMS and wants his mother to wash those for him. How lazy he is!

What we can infer from the picture is that the boy is a fresh man in university. He has never done any housework at home before he enters university, which leads to that he cannot manage his school life at all.

In fact, this condition is quite common in modern society. Parents dote on (溺爱) their children and take very good care of their children. The only thing children need to care about

is studying. Therefore they become life idolts when they have to leave parents and live alone.

I think as a university student , we should improve the abilities in all areas. Only in this way can we have a promising and bright future.

In the picture, an old woman was carrying a lot of things, which seemed to be quite heavy. She was too old to carry the

two big bags and a basket full of vegetables. She walked a few steps, tired out of breath. At this time, a young man with his girl friend went by. They walked and talked , and they seemed to be very compassionate (同情) to the poor old lady. The boy said “If Lei Feng was still alive, the old lady would not be so tired to carry the things alone. Lei Feng would help her.”After saying these words, they left without doing anthing to help the old woman.

What a stupid and ironic (讽刺的) picture it is! But it does really show us the condition of our society. Nowadays more and more people complain about the disappearance of the spirit of Lei Feng. Instead of reflecting on themselves, they owe this to the social unconsciouness of helping each other.
