With the world economy growing strongly, oil demand is far outpacing increases in readily available supply. And the largest petroleum consumption probably just begins to loom. Therefore, many people are worried that whether the petroleum will be used up.
There are good reasons to worry. First of all, petroleum are the Non-renewable energy resources. Once used up, it will not come again. What’s more, nowadays, our life is more and more addicted to petroleum; even some people think that we can’t live without it. So the demands for petroleum increase continuously and rapidly. Besides, we haven’t found other efficient energy substitute for petroleum. Unfortunately, the petroleum is the most convenient and efficient energy. In the future, people who find other energy substitute for petroleum will be the great man in the world.
We can see clearly that if we do not hold back the consumption of petroleum, our crude oil reserves will be used up very soon. And it’s time to take some positive measures to avoid the disappearance of petroleum.
