The Leaning T ower of Pisa 比萨斜塔

1. The Tower of Pisa is one of the most beautiful bell towers in Italy.

● 结构“One of the + 形容词最高级+可数名词复数” 意为“最……之一”。

● It is not only beautiful , but also strange ---- it leans to one side .

它不但漂亮，而且奇怪----- 它向一边倾斜。

Not only …but also … 意为“不但……而且……”

Peter is not only tall but also strong. 彼特不仅高，而且强壮。

be known as 以……而闻名。

● It took nearly 200 years to complete.花费了将近200年的时间才完工。
