Personal Statement
My name is ********. I am a 15 years old boy. Now, I am attending the Year 9 in Class 6 and will graduate in July, 2017. During the studying of Year 9, I applied the Viewbank College for my high school education. Luckily, I was admitted to the school this year. I am so happy about it and my parents are all very excited too.
To study abroad is always my dream. Firstly, when I was just a little boy, my parents had took me to travel abroad like USA, UK and Malaysia to understand the diffident culture and scenery, which made my childhood filled with curiosity about the world. I have never been to Australia, a country with a high reputation in education, which makes the decision to continue my study in the multicultural country. In addition, there is big difference in education system and purpose between China and Australia. The people in China may pay more attention to the result of the final examination. My classmates have to spend a lot of time to study every day for a better result in the final examination, but frankly I don’t want myself like this. Comparatively speaking, I prefer the education system for comprehensive development in Australia. That’s because there are also many interesting things attract me such as playing football, drama, traveling and so on besides the excellent academic achievement.
Secondly, the Viewbank College is diversified school, which is famous for its academic achievements, music, drama and exercise. I believe that I will benefit a lot from the school.
And at last, my parents also want me to be a person with the development in an all-around way, not only the excellent academic achievements, but also the happy life with some personal interests is the first. So, they both agree and have enough economic ability to support me to study Australia although they will miss me day and night. Therefore, I should study harder to live up to their expectations.
I hope that my dream will come true in the future and everything goes well in my study and career.
