大学英语（三）口语考试
操作步骤：
1. 在学期结束前一个月给学生5个话题（由教研室统一出），让他们提前准备和这些话题相关的内容，准备做个人观点阐述。
2. 考试当天随机分组，每三位同学一组，抽取一个话题。首先让三人分别对这个话题进行自己观点的阐述，然后老师就这个话题提出一个问题，让三位学生进行现场讨论。
3. 时间安排：个人观点阐述，每人控制在2分钟，小组讨论共5分钟，一组三人总计时11分钟。
评分标准
满分40分，具体分值如下：
(1)语音语调(Pronunciation & Intonation, 10分）
(2)流利程度（Fluency, 10分）
(3)用语准确性（Accuracy, 10分）
(4)用语得体性（Appropriacy, 10分）

What means is pollution ? Pollution is the factors that which are dirty our environment .Now pollution is a serious problem for human .In general , pollution can be divided into 4 types.there are air pollution ,sound pollution ,water pollution and land pollution . In the 20th century rapid economic development has resulted in environmental problems. Hence, environmental pollution has been a cause for concern for the past few decades. For example, the greenhouse effect caused by the release
of carbon dioxide has become a main focus in the world.

I have watched five of them already. I like them very much. The most important reason is the movie’s enlightenment. The movies are very exciting . The magic is very amzing and it brings the kids inclouding me too much fun . we have the imaginary wings . With the fun and the imagination . I know a lot about friendship , wisdom , bravery , love , justice , wit , intelligen ,confidence , patience choice and so on . I also learn how to confront fears ,danger , life and so on . I also know how to struggle with the forces of evil . The movies tell us that “It’s not our abilities that what we truly are . It’s our choices”. You want to be a honest person and you will be . on the other hand ,you want to be an evil person , you will be as well. The film also shows us that love can win everything . The enlightenment is a great deal .
The minor reason is the actors are so smart and pretty . Such as Daniel Radcliffe , Enna Watson , Rupert Grint , and so on.
Harry Potter are good movies .I love them for ever. I hope that you can watch them when you’re free. I think you will enjoy them .
3.Volunteering
I have never took part in volunteering work before. If i have the chance to take part, I would choose to volunteer in an orphanage. The orphans were either abandoned by irresponsible parents, or both parents are dead. I could donate my old clothes or food to them, and also my unwanted storybooks and textbooks. I could also plan games for them to take part in and hopefully, they would be more cheerful by the time I leave the place.
Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills — from working as part of a team to setting and reaching goals. It gives you a chance to discover what kinds of things you're best at and enjoy the most. A volunteer job that you love can even help shape your ideas about your career goals.
Volunteering also can provide you with a sense of responsibility because people really depend on you. And it can help you develop a new
understanding of people who are different from you — people with disabilities, people in financial distress, sick kids, or the elderly.
4. A magazine I like to read
Future of Newspapers
Have you ever lay in the sun, enjoying the entertainment of reading a newspaper? Have you ever sat in an underground railway, killing your boring time by turning a newspaper? If you have made it, there is no doubt that you may not deny the importance of newspapers as a popular medium.
The first reason underlying my judgment is that newspapers provide us with great convenience. Though the advent of electric media like televisions and computers offer us another way to obtaining information, their generation by electricity circumscribes their uses indoors. On the other hand, newspapers may be carried wherever we intend to. In addition, their small size and light weight will surely spare our effort to take them.
Another incomparable advantage of newspapers lies in their non-pollution. It may be said without fear of exaggeration that almost all those electronic media do harm to people's health.Take televisions for example：exposures to radiations,
a kind of pollution, from them in the long run will undermine people's health, and especially for pregnant women. The radiation may even affect the baby to some extent. The same case can also be found in computers without any difficulty. Newspapers, by contrast, are made of natural materials. Therefore no pollution will be given off nor are people subjected to the risk of illness when they read a newspaper. It is true that electronic media also have some merits superior to newspapers. They can give us more direct information, not only by words but by sounds and pictures as well. But regarding newspapers as a medium of past is an apparent understanding,far from the truth.
According to what has been analyzed above, newspapers have some exclusive advantages compared with other media,which affirm their popularity and will keep it on and on.
This is a photo of the volunteers at Shanghai Expo in 2010. With smiles on the face, the volunteers in the photo felt very happy because they could do much volunteering work for the success of the Expo. During the Expo, hundreds and thousands of volunteers offered enthusiastic service to all visitors, displaying to the
whole world the active participation of the Chinese citizens in volunteerism.
Just as shown in the photo, volunteerism has become popular among the Chinese Citizens. Nowadays, more and more people actively engage themselves in volunteering work, such as community service、social work and charity contribution. When a social event takes place, people will show ever greater enthusiasm in volunteering activities. For example, during Wenchuan earthquake, millions of the Chinese citizen joined the rank of volunteers, delivering their love and care to the victims in the affected areas. At Beijing Olympic game, the excellent service of volunteers won the praise of all athletes and visitors from the countries all throughout the world.
The selfless spirit of volunteers should be highly advocated. In the first place, volunteering spirit is needed to build a harmonious society. As a social being, each of us gets help from other people. In return, we should do our utmost to show our love and care to the society. Besides, our social work cannot be separated
from volunteers’ participation. Environmental protection, urban management and social service need volunteers. With the popularization of volunteers we are sure to build our society into a harmonious one.
5.work or Live to live to enjoy?
Who can tell me what’s the meaning of live? I am a little confused by the topic. I though for a while lonely. By the end I summary my own answer that is I work to afford my life and work is becoming my life.
Living in a highly competitive society, it’s so hard for me to enjoy work for live. As far as I’m concerned, the attitude towards life will be changeable as time passes by. Different situation has different choice on my life. I divided my life into two parts as follows:
I define my life is live to work before 35 years old. I am willing to devote all my time and efforts to work. In other words, I am working very hard for a visible promotion and long term professional career. I would like to earn more and more money in order to afford my life and my family. Through hardworking, I’m able to meet my dream of material life, such as house, car, beautiful things and so on. The all what I’ve mentioned are a preparation for my future life. I believe the
high quality life won’t be far under the firm financial su pport. As a member of young generation, I have no reason to stop fighting for a better life. There is no doubt that hardworking is the most practical way to realize my dream. So I want to say that I will choose live to work as I’m young.
On the contrary, I choose work to live without hesitation after 35 years old. At that time, I will pay main attention to my family and life. It’s time to spend a lot of time and energy to my kid and family. I will enjoy life, and spend more money for trave l, party, sports, charity and something else. It’s time to enjoy to do what I want to do without financial pressure. During the period, work just occupies a small part in my life. I earn money by work and have fun form work. I enjoy work but not only rely on it for fun.
Live to work or work to live, as I said the attitudes are vary. whichever you choose, it’s fine try your best.
