UKRAIN

Ukraine is a country in Eastern Europe. Russia is to the north-east of Ukraine,Belarus is to the Northwest, Poland and Slovakia are to the West. And the area of Ukrain is 200,000 square kilometers. The Ukrain’s population is 46,000,000. So density is only 77 people per square kilometer. It’s very comfortable compared with China.

Blue and yellow is traditional color in Ukrain.. So ,of couse the flag of Ukrain is

made up of blue and yellow.The ratio of the length and width is three scends. Ukrian is a public country. So blue represents sky and ocean whice means freedom and sovereignty. And yellow stands for cornfeild whice means Ukrain is main of agriculture. In 1920s,the Soviet Union encouraged the Ukrainian language and Ukrainian culture. So Ukrain join the Soviet Union in 1930s. But it is dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991. Before it, Ukrain also tried to reestablish Ukrainian independence. But it didn’t work cause THE SECOND WORLD WAR.

Ukrainian culture is famous in the world as well. For example, oil paiting, ballet and music are appreciated internationally. The literature is well-known,too. Like Nikolay Ostrovsky (Writer of How the Steel was Tempered) and Leo Tolstoy.
