Good morning, everyone! My name is XXX. I am from Class 161, Grade Eight. Standing here, I’m very happy and excited. It’s my great honor to make a speech, and the chance is very precious for me. And I’ll try my best to do it. Today I’ll talk about My Dream.

A dream is to a man what wings to a bird. It is dream that gives us power and makes our lives beautiful and colorful. All of us have dreams, but different people may have different dreams. Now I am going to tell you something about my dream.

As we all know, Martin Luther King had a famous speech named I Have a Dream. I also have a dream, but only a simple one. My dream is plain and ordinary----- to be a teacher. Teachers not only teach us many things at school, but also teach us how to learn. Thanks to them, we learn a lot of knowledge. And at the same time, we learn how to live a happy life. They spend most time on their students. They are great in my eyes.

I hope to be a teacher because I admire teachers. I know it is not easy to make my dream come true. But I decide to study harder from now on. Then I’ll go to university to learn something about being a t eacher. I am sure, only working hard, can I become a successful man. Where there is a will, there is a way. I’ll work hard for my dream and never give up. I believe my dream will come true in the near future.

As we all know, Martin Luther King had a famous speech named I Have a Dream. I also have a dream, but only a simple one. My dream is plain and ordinary ------to work for foreign tourists as a tour guide. Why do I want to be a tour guide? First of all, I‘m an outgoing girl, and I like doing something exciting. So maybe being a tour guide is the best choice. Then if I become a tour guide, I can travel around China, and know more about our country. Next I like making friends. If I work as a tour guide, I can make a lot of friends all over the world. And tell them about our colorful history. This may be great. Perhaps someday my foreign friends will invite me to visit their countries. I really like to go to their countries to know something about their culture. What’s more, I like English. Speaking English is my favorite.

Now I am still a high school student. My job is to study hard at school.

Then I will go to university to learn something about being a tour guide. I am sure, only working hard, can I become a successful man. Where there is a will, there is a way. I’ll work hard for my dream and never give up. I believe my dream will come true in the near future.

As we all know, Martin Luther King had a famous speech named I Have a Dream. We can all recall his Civil Rights Speech.

I have a dream, that one day, every part of this world will be full of Love and people always help each other.

I have a dream, that one day, the main melody of the world will be to foster and enhance with Love forever

I have a dream, that one day, in each part of society, Love is executed and isn't concealed by habit, blurred by time, and eroded by laziness.

I have a dream, that one day, even the most common people and the greatest people will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.

I have a dream, that one day; I will be able to live as the only herald to the gaudy spring of Love. I wouldn't care success or failure, for I will

only struggle ahead as long as I have been destined to the distance. I wouldn't care the difficulties around, for what I can leave on the earth is only their view of my back since I have been marching toward the horizontal.

I have a dream that one day, when the saints and poets look at this world, they all will hear the footsteps of Love!
