2.science 科学

science 当“科学”来讲时是不可数名词。当它指理科的一门学科时，是可数名词。

3.What’s your favorite subject? 你最喜欢的科目是什么？

○1favorite 此处为形容词意为“最喜欢的，最喜爱的”相当于like……best。What’s your favorite subject?=What subject do you like best?

Sunday is our favorite day.=We like Sunday best.

○2Favorite 还可用作名词，意为“最喜欢的人或物”，其复数形式为favorites.

These clothes are my favorites.

Which color is your favorite?

4.because 因为

because 是从属连词，引导原因状语从句，在汉语中我们常说“因为……所以……”，但是在英语中“因为”“所以”只能用其一，即在同一个英语句子中，because与so不能同时使用。

通常提问because句子用why+一般疑问句。

Why do you like cats?

Because they are very cute.

5.fun

○1形容词有趣的This story is fun.

○2名词玩乐，有趣的事Do you have fun in the zoo?

○3have fun=have a good time=enjoy oneself

have fun doing sth.

6.difficult 难的

形容词，意为“难的，困难的”。反义词“容易的”名词形式difficulty

It’s difficult to learn math well.

7.free 空闲的

形容词意为“空闲的”

Are you free today? 你今天有空吗？

When are you free? 你什么时候有空？

be free 意为“有空，空闲”同义短语have time free 反义词busy

Are you free tonight? =Do you have time tonight? 今晚你有空吗？

8.时间介词in, on, at

年月周前要用in, 日子前面却不行

遇到几号要用on, 上午下午有是in

某日上午要用on, 具体时间要用at

10.Mrs. 夫人，太太用于已婚女子的夫姓前

Miss 小姐用于未婚女子的姓氏前

Ms. 女士在不清楚对方是否已婚的情况下使用

Mr. 先生用于男子的姓氏前

Mr. Mrs. Miss Ms. 一般不能单独使用，必须放在姓氏前。

sir, madam, lady, gentleman一般单独使用，不与人的姓氏连用。

finish 后接动名词形式，表示做完某事，完成某事。

You must finish your homework first. 首先，你必须完成你的作业。

Jim usually finishes doing his homework before 8:00. 吉姆通常在8点做完作业。

lesson 可数名词，意为“课，功课”

Lesson 5 is very easy. 第五课很容易。

for two hours. 意为“两小时”

for+一段时间意为“共……”表示持续多长时间。

I waited for him there for two day. 我在那里等了他两天。

13.特殊疑问句

特殊疑问句是对句中某一部分内容提出疑问的问句，是指以what, who, when, where, why, how等开始的伊恩局，也称wh-问句。特殊疑问句与一般疑问不一样，它不能用Yes或no 回答。

○1结构：特殊疑问句有两种结构

倒装结构：疑问词+谓语+宾语/状语？

陈述语序：疑问词+谓语+宾语/状语？

用陈述语序的结构往往是对主语进行提问，这时疑问词作句子的主语。

○2疑问词

(1)what 通常用来询问姓名，物品，数学运算的结果或什么时间做什么事。What可与grade,class,color等名词“结盟”，一起来询问某些相对具体的信息。

---What’s your favorite subject? 你最喜欢的科目是什么？

---My favorite subject is English. 我最喜欢的科目是英语。

What grade is she in? 她在几年级？

What color is your bag? 你的包是什么颜色的？

(2)who who是疑问代词，“谁”，用来询问“人”在句中可作主语，宾语，表语

Who do you want to help? 你想帮助谁？

(3)why

(4)why 是疑问副词，意思是“为什么”，用来询问原因，回答时多用以连词because引导的

句子。意为“因为……”

---Why do you like Beijing Opera? 你为什么喜欢京剧？

以why开头的否定疑问句多表示建议或请求。
