1. Jenny looks at Danny and notices something very strange..

句子中的something 为不定代词,strange意为“奇怪的”,是形容词。形容词修饰不定代词放在不定代词的后面。不定代词有:something, anything, everything, nothing , everybody, nobody等等。

2.….. vegetables are good for us. 蔬菜对我们有好处。

词组be good for ,意为:“对……有好处”。

Reading is good for you. 读书对我们有好处。

3.decide v.决定;作出判断

这个词后面可以接不定式,也可以接that 从句作宾语,其中that可以省略。He decided to go abroad./ He decided that he would go abroad. 他决定出国。练案口语练习:Read the passage aloud with your partner.

肯定回答:Yes,there was/ were .

否定回答:No,there wasn’t / weren’t.
