Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over the world. With the development of industry and agriculture, cars make GREat noises and give off poisonous gas. Trees on the hills have been cut down,and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers. Furthermore,wherever we go today, we can find rubbish carelessly disposed. The whole ecological balance of the earth is changing. Massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to man's existence.

全世界的环境问题在变得越来越严重。随着工农业的发展，汽车制造噪音、排放毒气，山上的树木被砍伐，污水不断被排入河里。另外，无论我们走到哪里，到处可见随意丢弃的垃圾。整个地球生态平衡正在改变，环境的巨大破坏已带来负面影响，甚至对人类生存带来巨大威胁。

We must face the situation that exists and take actions to solve our environmental problems. For instance, new laws must be passed to place strict control over industrial pollution, the pub!ic must receive the education about the hazard of pollution and so on. We hope that all these measures will be effective and bring back a healthful environment.

How to protect our environment，There are many ways for us to reduce waste ,We can do something in our daily life.First,we shouldn’t throw rubbish everywhere and draw anything on the wall. In recent years, tourism has developed rapidly in China. Many people believe that tourism produce positive effects on economic growth and we should try our best to promote tourism. But what these people fail to see is that tourism may bring about a disastrous impact on our environment. As for me, I'm firmly convinced that too much tourists bring harm to the environment.

近年来,旅游业在中国发展迅速。许多人认为旅游对经济发展有积极作用,我们应该尽力促进旅游业。但是这些人没有看到的是,旅游可能会带来灾难性影响我们的环境。就我而言,我坚定地相信太多的游客对环境带来伤害。

The bad impact of tourism on the environment has mainly expressed itself in various ways. One way is the process of exploiting a new scenic spot. In order to attract tourists, a lot of artificial facilities have been built, which have certain unfavorable effects on the environment. This process usually breaks the ecological balance of the area. In some mountainous places, trees are being cut down to build hotels for others to see and explore the beauty of the mountains. Then land slides and mud-rock flows come up. Another way the development of tourism has damaged the environment occurs when tourists go to scenic spots. Some tourists don't have the awareness to protect the environment, and ignorantly throw their garbage here and there. Some people even kill the local wildlife to eat, which badly damages the balance of the natural environment.

It is wrong to sacrifice the environment for the growth of tourism. We must keep in mind that too much tourists bring harm to the environment. We need to find a balance between satisfying the needs of tourists and reducing to a minimum the pollution they cause.

Responsible travel is very well expressed in the famous travelers saying: Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints, kill nothing but time. Travelling is every one’s way of getting away from the hustle and bustle of life and sometimes, because we are so engrossed in our desire to enjoy and have fun, we tend to forget that the we only have one earth to live on and that we are all responsible for it.

Very often, we are not conscious enough to realize that one little candy wrapper that we threw outside the bus while travelling could one day contribute to the blocking of the drainage system and could cause flooding in the area; we are not aware enough of the fact that the litter we throw away carelessly might one day turn the place into a trash dump; we are not considerate enough to see the tree we attempt to climb might be over 500 years old and can hardly bear our weight.

Being responsible doesn’t necessarily mean that we are required to do something grand for the environment. It’s those little things that matter the most. If everybody starts doing those little things, I bet it could change the world
